Oh, Sammy. I'm your FIRST FAN! WOw, it just melts my heart. Give us another. Please.

What sweet sounds of love I hear,
when'er this site I see.
What sweet thoughts of love are near,
wherever two lovers be.

Sorry for the weak attempt at poetry, but there is too much love here. Our little family's cup of love runneth over.

Scylar Tyberius (scy_ty) Now we need to hear from Meagan, Jo, Kat, Kit, and last but definitely not least, Brad and Matty!

message 107: by Kaje (new)

Kaje Harper | 17377 comments I'm actually thrilled with how many people have put quill to paper and produced something for us. So I will wait patiently (you're all buying this, right?) for Brad and the others to find time or inspiration.

Ah, well, my halo slips a little now and then. Look forward to that story, Patricia. (Inspired by a shower...this will be YA, right :)

Rick, huh??? Dammit, Sammy. I don't have this great bundle of available time, but I just had to spend a little more of it re-reading this story. It is tooooooo sweet. ANd I love the tie-in to Spirit Day. Now, Kaje. Do we need to engage in a little one-upmanship? DOes this mean we need to write another one? Darnit, where will I find the time??????????????????

message 121: by Kaje (new)

Kaje Harper | 17377 comments No repeats - we'll find another topic perhaps. Anyway, I just turned in my story for the Gay Straight Alliance so I'm written out for the night. Good night, sweet prince.

Kaje Harper | 17377 comments OK, I'm fast so I get #1 fandom here. I love the slightly surreal feel, where you wonder what was in his head and what really happened. And then the certainty of the end. That was real, and sweet.

message 125: by Jordie.R (new)

Jordie.R (JordieR) | 110 comments I really like that, Patricia:).

message 126: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Lynne (pjlauthor) LOL Kaje. I think we need to start a chart of who is whose number 1 fan. Thanks.

Thanks, Jordie. ^_^

message 127: by Kaje (new)

Kaje Harper | 17377 comments We'll just do a group fandom thing; no hierarchy (that's for werewolves.)

message 128: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Lynne (pjlauthor) That works (I like werewolves. Almost as much as vampires) We should do buttons at least. #1 Fan of {insert name} =D

message 133: by Scylar (new)

Scylar Tyberius (scy_ty) Patricia, Bravo. It is such a lovely story. Didn't need to cry first thing this morning, though. It is so heartfelt. I actually felt like I was Cam, and I was losing Zack. First Fan.

message 134: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Lynne (pjlauthor) Thanks, but kind of feel bad I made you cry. ^^;; And I think you're the fourth fan, Kaje claimed number one. Oh, I know! Jello fight for number one fan!!!! What? Guys try to get girls to do that all the time. =D

The stories that make me cry are always the greatest. I'm up for the jello fight! yEAh, but that's not fair that Kaje gets to be first, she's always has access to net, unlike this one. LOL

message 136: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Lynne (pjlauthor) Oh wait, this is a YA type group. So that also rules out fight to the death.... hmmm, how else can I pit my fans against each other? ;)

Patricia Lynne (pjlauthor) Scylar wrote: "The stories that make me cry are always the greatest."

Yeah, those are the best stories, although, I usually try not to cry because then I can't see the words until I calm down. ^^;;

Yea, but I like to read slowly. I really like to enjoy what the writer is telling me. And you like Billie Joe, too, huh? I bet I liked him before you did. I'd like to get in a nekkid jello fight with him for sure.

Hmm, I dunno, I feel in love w/ Green Day back in 1996. I'd jello fight w/ Tre_Cool and then BJ. ^^

message 140: by Summer (new)

Summer Michaels | 361 comments Wow you guys!! All of your stories are amazing!! Why can't we make this a monthly thing? My friend Zach Sweets came up with a writing challenge where he would post a pic and we had a month to get a short story written. I love Zach! I'm sure he would have no problems setting a new pic for next month. We used it as a way for us to just write, sounds like we have more authors here who may discover their joy of writing again.

Scylar, do you have a pic planned for next month? Maybe we can take turns posting a pic for the group to write about? I can text Sweets when I find my phone, he will love what you guys have written!

That sounds like a good idea. We can take turns finding a picture prompt and make it a monthly thing.

message 142: by Kaje (new)

Kaje Harper | 17377 comments I would definitely be up for that monthly thing, if we keep it low key like this; just for fun and short stories. It's great to read everyone's take on the picture.

Absolutely love this as a monthly thing. And I think others should come up with the next one. THere are tons of pics in the folders in this group. Or someone could post some other pic. Either one person could pick, or perhaps several people could nominate a picture, and then we could vote on it in a poll???? Yes, Kaje, just for fun. Just shorts.
I am also working on another writing game that I am developing.I think it will be so cool and fun. BUt Iwon't disclose the details until I get it worked out.

message 147: by Summer (new)

Summer Michaels | 361 comments Lol, not going to happen this month Scylar, I have been crazy busy!! Next month should free me up, no more football for my son. I will post next time!

Maybe we could do a Thanksgiving Day theme picture. Voting on a pic would be fun as well. Maybe we can start a thread for the theme for each month, pic only no comments then vote.

Cool idea about Thanksgiving theme. So how old is the son? qUARTERBACK? Are they having a winning season?
And I holding you to that promise for a story next month.

message 149: by [deleted user] (new)

Having picture every month is a fun way to expand the writing skills. It even will help each authors breaking the mind-block whenever they've been writing their WIP. It works really well for me :D

Unfortunately, I won't be able to participate next month since it's NaNoWriMo and I'm doing it. :) Writing a YA genre has been on my mind for a while. I think I'll use the pictures challenge you'll post as a practice for me to be able to write YA stories :) I've wrote too many Adult stories :(

Thanks to Summer for letting me know :D :D

message 150: by Kaje (new)

Kaje Harper | 17377 comments Hey Zach, we'd love to hear something from you when you get the chance. Do you know what you're writing for NaNoWriMo? I'm still on the fence about it. So many projects in different stages already...
