Nox clicked his beak and took off to fly around the room, imagining diving down to claw at Dustan to make him leave, and letting Dustan know those thoughts whilst keeping them hidden from Sera.
"You're welcome," Sera smiled at him.

Dustan looked at Nox, Alright alright. Just saying thank you. He gave her another grateful look and walked over to his brother. "So, apparently, the seals broken. What're we going to do about it? We need another archdemon, preferably one that doesnt work for Paymon. And I dont think Adams up for giving favors."

Matthew nodded, then looked to Dustan to explain. He turned to her with a sigh. "Remember how we said if one of us went crazy, then wed both be killed? Well, after our mom went on a rampage, we never wanted that to happen to either of us. We went to the local archdemon, which was a bad choice since he works for the rogue. Anyway, we got a twin seal so if one of us dies, we both die."
"So now, if one of you die the other lives? I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but how is that a bad thing?" Sera asked confused.
Matthew sighed, "What if one of us goes crazy and no ones there to stop us? Then one of us could just well... die, and no one would get hurt except for us." he shrugged. "Made sense at the time."
Sera nodded seeing thier logic, but she couldn't help but have a small part of her think that maybe this way was better. She tried to quieten the part, but as she looked at Dustan's eyes again the voice just got louder. She sighed in defeat.

Dustan clapped a hand on his brothers shoulder, "Bittersweet I suppose. But seriously, with all the power we've been using lately, we really need to re-instate the seal." he looked at Jade. "But only after we take care of Paymon."
Sera nodded and half smiled, only one corner of her mouth lifting. "So what's happened since..." Sera asked them.

Matthew explained. "Well, yesterday, me and Adam found out she was originally a dormant demon and angel half breed. When the demon kidnapped her, he took her wings and sent her into having only minor powers with his sigma. But now theyre back."

"So that means?" Sera looked from the twins to Jade and back again.
"Dont know yet, still trying to figure things out." Matthew said and looked at Jade. "When Dustan came back, Paymon took him over again and said he couldnt wait until she turns into a monster."
"Surely there's something that can be done to at least slow the process? Or add to her protection?" Sera frowned.

"Nope, until hes dead we cant do much." Dustan said and pointed to the same sigma that was on his arm, printed on Jades skin. "Shes marked, too. But its different somehow."
Matthew yawned, Alright, take care of Jade... he thought back and plopped into the chair his brother was just in. He was asleep in seconds.

King Paymon returned to Dustans's body quietly and went over to Jade. He looked at the pathetic brother seating near the bedside. He looked ath Jade. Wake up child, you have slumbered enough. Rise. he commanded seeing her body switch. Then left Dustan's body. Finishing what he wanted to do.

Sera watched Dustan carefully, something seemed slightly off, but she couldn't be sure, her knowledge on demons was limited, maybe it was just normal for him. Besides, she hardly knew him, this could be his normal behaviour. But that same voice in the back of her mind told her that it wasn't.
Nox looked up at Dustan and then back at Jade. He hooted softly as her body twitched.

"You ok?" Sera asked Dustan softly, thinking it better to try and find out whether it had been his norml behaviour or not.
Dustan bit his lip, "He did something to Jade just now... I dont know what."
Sera turned to Nox and then looked back at Dustan, then finally at Jade.

"I dont know..." Dustan walked up to Jade and lifted her eyes lids, seeing her all black eyes turning painfully slow back to normal. "He seems to have trapped her in her mind this whole time. But she might wake up soon."
"Hopefully, she shoulf wake up sooner ot later, no one can sleep forever, unless they're dead, but that's different," Sera rambled slightly nervous.
Nox rolled his eyes at Sera's attitude but nodded to Dustan.

Dustan stared into her dark eyes, his own starting to glow. "He must have a reason for awakening her, though." he said, trying to get into her mind, but with no luck.
Sera looked back into his eyes, the glowing intriguing her more so, the voice in the back of her head woke again, louder this time.
She frowned slightly as she felt someone unfamiliar brushing against her mind like an annoying fly. She made sure her mind was in full lock-down mode, even from Nox so as the person couldn't gain any access until she knew who it was and decide what to do about it.

Dustan figured it was no use, her mind was locked down from the inside. He stood and realized he accidentally caught someone elses mind as his eyes still glowed.

Sera tried to shut her mind more firmly but it was too late. She threw herslef at him, knocking him to the floor and punching him hard. "GET THE HELL OUT!" She yelled, her own small voice in the back of her mind finally quiet.
Nox flew over them, secretly happy with what had just happened due to what was happening before him. He dived at Dustan, clawing at him with his sharp talons.

I'm sorry, Dustan said sincerely before going back to his body. The pain hit him like a train from all the clawing and punching. He groaned and sat up slowly.
Sera turned her back on him indisgust and returned to the wall, as she lent against it she glared at him.

Dustan rubbed his face but hissed slightly when he ended up rubbing more bloody slash marks. He stood shakily, not looking at Sera, and walked to the bathroom for bandages. He didnt want to wake Matthew for healing.
Sera watched him angrily, hoping that every thing he did as he recovered from her and Nox's onslaught caused him pain for as long as possible.

Dustan dug around for bandages and thought guiltily, Why did I do that?! When he found a package or two, he looked in the mirror. There were claw marks all over his face, neck, and chest. Even a little bruising. Oh well, I deserved this anyway. He sighed and started wrapping up a larger scratch across his left eye.

Dustan sat back against the wall, feeling very guilty and confused. Why did he do that? Maybe hed lost more control of his mind with all the abuse it was taking from Paymon. Perhaps hed go rogue sooner than they thought. They had to reinstate that seal fast... he thought, looking at Matthew.
"Sorry," Sera said grudgingly to the wall despite the word being meant for Dustan.

Sera half smiled and looked at the bandage covering his eye. If anything, it was that which wanted to heal for him the most, not only because she knew it would be annoying to only have half your vision, but because of how captivating his eyes were to her.
