This book has gotten really interesting! It started out as a book about three best friends going on vacation together, but now it has turned into a fantasy type novel. Although I do not like fantasy, Laura Kasischke does a good job of keeping it tied in with the real world. Two of the girls, Anne and Michelle, decided to take a ride with a man they met at their hotel to an ancient ruin site called Chichen Itza. Leading up to that point, there had been little mention of mythology... but the man, Ander, keeps talking about a god that still rules the ancient temple today. I'm excited to see what happens next and to see where the storyline goes!
