I am reading both of these:A Game of Thrones / A Clash of Kings
Shadow of Night
Loved the first installment in both series, & it gives me a nice break from the 1001 Book List I've been working through. These are both "light", & I love fantasy just as much I love the classics :) It's a good way for me to balance them both.
Last night I finished the non-fiction, The Wardrobe Wakeup: Your Guide to Looking Fabulous at Any Age. Great fresh ideas for us women in our 40's and beyond.
I finished this morning Nerves of Steel. And over the weekend I did start All That Really Matters: Jesus' Simple Plan for a Transformed Life.
I just finished Last Things-wasn't impressedReading these:
1. Victorine-almost finished, I'm in the last few pages
2. Love and War-hard to get through simply because of the smaller print, I get a headache if I try to get through too much too fast
3. The Devil's Teeth: A True Story of Obsession and Survival Among America's Great White Sharks-this is a HIT!!!!
currently I'm reading Cannery Rowlove John Steinbeck1Q84(this one is taking me a little while) The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay(I am in love with this book even though it's been taking me a while to finish it)Absalom, Absalom!(very very difficult, I find it a bit easier to understand when I read it out loud) Those are all books I'm working on for my Ultimate Insanity Book challenge of over 1700 books to read before I die. What I'm reading for pure pleasure and to take a mental break from life and the harder books are generally romance in nature though at the moment the books listed are the only ones I'm reading.
I'm reading throne of glass by Sarah J. Maas and then I'll start the Hunger games! This book is so hyped, I'm actually a bit scared to read it! Lol!
Just finished Runner by Patrick Lee. I received it as a Giveaway for a review. Oh my goodness, it was fantastic!A man can't sleep. It's 3am and he goes out for a run. While out, a young girl (about 12) runs into him and is frantic. She is being chased by men....with guns. (That's pages 1-3 and it stays that way through the whole book!)

Shana, it sounds really exciting! You got a good, free book!

Tipping the Velvet
The Kitchen House
Oryx and CrakeThe Year of the Flood
