Sherlock Holmes (BBC Version)

Has anyone watched the BBC version of Sherlock Holmes, simply titled Sherlock. It is the new one that takes place in modern day London, yet the characters are just as fun as they were in the original books. If you haven't seen it, I suggest checking it out. The guy who plays Sherlock is quite good and Martin Freeman (Love Actually, Hot Fuzz and he is going to be Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit) plays Dr. Watson. It is a fun series!

We saw the first 3 episodes last fall. Have they released new episodes lately?

[Hannah]

I loved this series. I've heard they're filming another season but I have no idea when it's being released.

[Kasey]

From what I found out, the next episodes were delayed because of Freeman's commitment to The Hobbit. They were supposed to come out this fall, but because of the delay, the will not be ready until sometime in 2012.

[Hannah]

That makes sense--after all he can't be in two places at the same time. I'm looking forward to the Hobbit as much as Sherlock so I don't mind the delay :)

I guess I should have said that I am excited for the new Hollywood version too. I think it comes out in November. I hope I enjoy Robert Downing Jr. and Jude Law in it as much as I did in the first one!

I heard that the next season of Sherlock will be out in the U.S. next May. So, not long to wait.
I'm also looking forward to the next Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downing Jr./Jude Law :)

I can't wait to see the movie with Robert Downing Jr.! It seems forever till December. In Romania it's out on 23 December *rolling eyes* like someone will go on Christmas to watch it.

I love the PBS version so much, so focused on deductive reasoning. Daily I find myself really looking around at what life has to offer. When reading I am reading more closely also at the author offers, I am catching more clues.

Besides Benedict Cumberbatch, Sherlock<, is really gorgeous and his voice is to die for.
