Mood: Tired, so very tired
Entry:
Two more names on the List, three people met. A long day, but an accomplished one. I’ve been running on empty the past few days, but today drained me more than the others. My six month anniversary here at NGA is coming up and I have yet to find another archetypal to join. Ruby comes close, but I’m not sure if she fully trusts me yet. Speaking of Ruby, that was the most pleasant conversation I had today, maybe in my NGA experience. I acted charming, she was polite. I initially ordered a potion so I had an excuse to discuss her power with her again, but she was too suspicious of how I was going to use it, so instead I cancelled the order and tried to convince her that it was just an excuse to see her again. Partially true.
One of my less pleasant experiences was with Lyte, a pyrokenetic that I met on the mountain. Her defensive nature made it hard to get any info out of her. But as far as I can tell she can make fire, has a temper and has water as a weak point. I made a huge mistake while talking to her though. Apparently she is good at reading people so she saw that I was satisfied with the information I ended up with. She tried to scare me into talking, but I gave a hint of a threat and she clammed up. The girl mentioned something about her family being strong, I’ll ask Psmith to check it out.
Most annoying experience so far however was with the AGitG, the Annoying Girl in the Gardens. I didn’t catch her name but she had the power to blow up objects. She called me dishonest and tried to pump me for info. I must be losing my touch, as I failed to convince her of my ‘honest’ intentions and ended up telling her my power. But not my weakness. I doubt even Psmith knows that, do you buddy? Enjoying this entry so far? I’m sad I can’t tell you it in person, but we aren’t scheduled for a meeting anytime soon. Back to the AGitG. She challenged me to a game to guess her weakness within 10 tries. I succeeded after a disagreement with her of what I needed to do to succeed. Her weakness was the color white, which immobilized her. She kept changing the rules of the contest to make me have to test her weakness with different colors. BS. It was a waste of time and I half debated throwing her into the fountain while should couldn’t move. Probably wouldn’t have been worth it though. But as I left, she left a note in a bush. As far as I could tell, it was a diary entry. Boring stuff. But she claims that she is going to be coming after me and that I should watch my back. I could take her down in a second. I don’t think she realizes that though.
