Wesley I believe that what many of you may not understand is that this book "Red Harvest" is the back-story of "Death Troopers". Many of "Death Troopers" reviews were asking fo a back-story, well guess what, you got one. This book provides the just about the perfect insight into the workings of the sickness.

Jeremy Stephens I thought this same thing when I read the book but there was one thing that seemed a bit of a stretch to me- if this is a prequel to Death Troopers, why does it take place thousands of years in the past? It seems like to really be a prequel it should take place within the same era at least. There is so much left to be explained if this is in fact a prequel.

Erik Larson Yeah, its a "kinda" prequal feel to it. seems like there is sooo much distance and alot of plot holes for it to be a real prequal. Now if there are like 9 other books in between Red Harvest and Death Troops, then yes i agree it to be a prequal. The ending of Red Harvest did not indicate in anyway it was a prequal to Death Troopers.

Mark Kaye A agree this is a prequel to Death Troopers, but I must admit it was a very disapointing book. It didn't have alot of depth, a weak build up and a rushed ending. I was let down, Death Troopers was a way bettre book.

Rick Cook What they did with the tauntauns is one of the most brilliantly silly things to ever happen in any universe, given how tauntauns were first introduced to the franchise.

David Braly Guess I need to read "Death Troopers". I was not a big fan of "Red Harvest" but it was interesting.
