I'm seriously really happy, because I studied for the audition (not the CP theme, that's not in the audition) and I feel confident for Saturday. And Fernando and I took bets on the positions and he placed me at the fifth seat and I feel like I'll get there or further and just <3

So afterwards some techy guys in my English class were just being curious and coming over and asking me how I recorded it and whatnot, because the recording doesn't sound like my low speaking voice. My teacher was making quips about them being lured in, like I was a siren, and this literally happened like four or five times. She was like, "GO TO YOUR SEATS - what did you do to them, Vanessa?" xD

Me: My teacher said that to me when I looked at a strip of magnesium reacting with heated copper wire (or something of the sort), and it produced this gorgeous, bright, pure white light. I couldn't see for sh/t afterwards.

Me: I wrote this whole half-page rant on how idiotic the test was on my scratch sheet of paper and I made all sorts of snide remarks in the booklet. Mostly because I'm too advanced for the test (the AP kids have to take the same test as everyone else--which is to say that they take it again).

So apparently if I take Chem HL next year I can't take the IB test because I won't be a senior so I have to wait until senior year or take SL? That's stupid.
