(view spoiler)[“Who needs whales anyways?” Emil mutters as the sun is blocked yet again by another winged, two-ton monstrosity. This one is elaborately decorated, and whoever owns it is clearly of high status. “Why would you spend money on such a stupid thing?”
A low rumble echoes overhead.
“Oh, for God’s sake.”
Another rumble follows the first, as if to mock him, so he sighs, and walks on in the dim light. It’s not even noontime, but it looks like it’s seven in the evening. It doesn’t help that the ridiculous creatures take a year and a day to move two feet.
He seats himself on a bench and waits for the sun to return.
It stays dark for quite some time, so he casts his gaze upward only to find that the same whale is still there in the same place as before.
Emil scowls. “You’re blocking my sunlight! Scram, why don’t you?” he yells, though he doesn’t think the whale will even understand him. He crosses his arms and slumps against the bench, keeping his eyes away from the sky.
There’s silence for some time. The area begins to brighten again and Emil straightens up. He looks up at the sky and the whale is moving away. Its wings whip up a gust of wind and Emil’s hair billows around his face.
Emil half stands, leaning against the bench with one hand. He stares up at the whale and squints as the light gets brighter. He wants to shout out, “Wait, don’t go!” but he hesitates, and the moment is gone. A large tail passes above him and he shields his face from the force of the air that beats down on him. Emil plops down on the bench once more, watching forlornly as the whale leaves, and realizes how lonely he is. He wishes he had a whale too.
Then he realizes he could have had one, if only temporarily, and buries his face in his hands.
In the distance, the whale sings. (hide spoiler)]

Me: So I began to watch this movie from my childhood from Bionicle, "Web of Shadows", and it's so bad it's hilarious I can't even. xD

I think it depends on the person and the situation. Like, some kids can't help it due to family reasons or whatever, but in the case of a clearly, ill-intentioned juvenile, I think they should be.

It's like this book we're reading in English, Things Fall Apart. The main guy, Okonkwo, is a jerkfase but it's because he's terrified of the idea of being a failure like his father.

Me: So like in youth orchestra break my friend Fernando and I were walking around with my friend Danni and he started singing this gross alternative rock and we pretended to be offended by his singing. He asked why he couldn't sing his songs, and I answered rhetorically why I couldn't sing my Les Miz songs.
He burst into song with I Dreamed a Dream and god we were pathetic aaaall afternoon. My life is made.
