Me: So my mother gave me one of those ridiculous talks on college and she said that it's a deal, that I'm going into the youth orchestra. Meaning every detail she takes as an excuse to pull me out, and I'm going to freaking Mathletes and Biology Olympics whether I like it or noe because it'll help me when I hate them both so very very much. She said go ahead, but I know she will pull me out in a few months. If I do pass the audition, that is. I won't be able to do, I know I won't, and if I do, I'll be pulled out in a few months.

Me: just try for orchestra. :/ it's something you really like, and let's be honest, those trivia games aren't actually that helpful, considering it's mostly learning how to say things quickly. Like, sure it's good for memorization and whatever, but if you're doing poorly in the academic activities, colleges are going to notice and they want to see you for what you like to do. Like, if you can have after school activities that are not all math and science while still demonstrating that you "enjoy" science by taking higher level science courses.

Me: So I finally started on my science fair project backboard, and my brother walks and looks at me with such utter understanding, and asks, "Science fair?" xD He used to take IB Sciences, and he would always finish the night before.

This novel frustrates me. Like, any consistency in the writing style goes to sh/t at some point. Ugh. Also, semicolons. "Or anything else, even the tail of a rabbit" is not an I depended clause and there shouldn't be a semicolon before or. e_O

Me: I'm doing it for everything this week. Yesterday night was Gatsby, tonight is science fair and intermolecular forces lab that I completely forgot about, and tomorrow is math project. xD

The thing is, the protagonist was a freaking librarian, so I don't think she has much of an excuse, so really, it's just the author. Also, there is a significant lack of commas after introductory adverbs.

That reminds me: in the midst of my panic during my AP World final (which I studied for with my friends on Monday for like, ten hours, and still knew nothing on the test ;n;) this sort of image popped into my head about what would happen if Meredith suddenly didn't remember who Daniel was and it was heartbreaking to see his reaction.

It's like self mutilation excel not really.
