Me: I do want to pursue it. My parents do not want me to pursue it. My dad wants me to be an engineer just like him and my sister. I'm regular in both, because I am not that good in violin but neither am I good in Math. >,<

Me: It's so hard to convince some people of that, though, Ivi. My parents are narrow-minded about those things, among others (i.e, they're quite racist). My mom automatically stops listening whenever I mention anything that isn't "important." It's childish, but it's not like I'm in a position to do anything about it. ;n;
