Me: Thank you! :D So I was reading the textbook's forms of words in the past, and it calls them 'preterite.' Example:
Estar:
yo - estuve
tu - estuviste
el/ella - estuvo
nosotros - estuvimos
vosotros - estuvsteis
ellos/ellas - estuvieron

But I use:
yo - estaba
tu - estabas
el/ella - estaba
nosotros - estabamos
vosotros - estabais (lol not this one. xD)
ellos/ustedes - estaban

What's the difference?
