Me; That frustrates me. A lot. Like, we did that in eighth grade and these kids felt so good about themselves for picking away at the surface things instead of focusing on what's important.

So today we had to make our own narrative recipe type thing, and our sub gave us full liberty to do whatever we wanted with it and this happened

CHINESE STEAMBOAT
Long before we were born, our parents lived in the Old Country, but their dream was to come to America. So they swam across the Pacific Ocean on the backs of sea turtles; when they arrived, the turtles died of exhaustion and fell out of their shells. The shells were used to create the bowls used in this recipe. This recipe was passed down in our respective families for, like, maybe half a generation. Which is kinda old. The recipe is most accurately called: Chinese Steamboat. We learned it when we were at the ripe old age of four years.

The ingredients for this recipe you must gather on your own from the forest, the mountains, the sea, and if you can rent a helicopter, the sky. We will guide you throughout this arduous journey, and in the end, you will be rewarded with a delicious turtle shell of Chinese Steamboat.

As our parents did when they first washed ashore in Kansas, so you must ride a sea turtle until it dies of exhaustion and falls conveniently out of its shell. Collect the shell and put it in your inventory. Take the turtle meat as well. (Your pants will make the best storage area. Trust in me. I am King of the Sharks). Steal some seaweed from the otters while you're at it, because they're greedy little rodents with no sense of basic courtesy.

Now, teleport to the Forest Temple using your Ocarina of Time. Kill the roaming Vegetable Beasts and chop off pieces of their disgustingly healthy carcasses. Bathe in their vegetable juice/blood and dance around a bonfire, offering barbaric tribute to the heathen gods, Bubba and Timmeh.

Go to the great King of Allupinya and accept the quest he gives you. It will take you to such foreign lands as Canada and Montana (because nobody knows anything about Montana) and you will gather noodles from the Great Noodle River. It will not be an easy task, as noodles are slippery and devious in their design. Pray to the Flying Spaghetti Monster for your success and he may smile upon you and wave his noodle-y appendages in your general direction.

Now for the last, and greatest task of all. You must find the Lord of All Tofu. He dwells deep in the sewers of L.A. with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Kelly Clarkson. You will need a map, a flashlight, and a really nice pair of rubber boots. Good luck.

You are now ready to make your own Chinese Steamboat! Listen carefully, for these next instructions will be long, tedious, and as complicated as learning the Chinese alphabet.

Just throw everything into the turtle shell, add some soy sauce, laundry detergent, the eyebrow hairs of an old Chinese man, and bring it all to a boil truly worthy of the Prince of Darkness. Serve to small, annoying children across the street. (hide spoiler)]
