This is not really a challenge idea, but I've seen other groups doing it more and more. What would you all think of having a member of the month? We could vote on one person each month and then ask all sorts of questions to get to know them.

Would y'all like do to do other team challenges? Like with there is a break with Scavenger Hunt there is another to fell up the time.
I was inspired by a comment made by Dyllan aka ~Whycked Mhystresxs~. Any thoughts on a individual speed reader scavenger hunt? The more books you read the better the chances of finding the items. But it could be done with just one book for others too. Instead of one long list to look for each week 5-10 items are announced. You must find the items in a book with in that week. You can claim as many books as you need to find all the items. I was thinking maybe a rotating MC for the week too. Each week a different player gets to pick the items we are searching for.
How about doing a year challenge where you pick you favorite show and do all their seasons?
EXAMPLE:
Supernatural
Season 1:
1. pilot
2. Wendigo
3. Dead in the water
4. Phantom Traveler
5. Bloody Mary
So the objective here is to read a book where any of the words in the title appear or its related to the title in some way. what you could do is set up a list of shows and let the participants look up the seasons for the shows that they want to do or let them pick their own show that they want to do. I think this could be a year or two long challenge. thoughts?

I need some inspiration for an upcoming challenge...1. What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? Or your favorite you've seen worn by someone else.
2. What was your favorite candy to get from trick or treating?
I never went trick or treating, but I've seen the little ones And my faves are the animal ones they just look so adorable!! But I (and this isn't really Halloween related) have always been impressed by the costumes worn at comic con!! Wow!!
I also like the animal ones little kids wear. But my favorite is the one I am going to wear this year is a steampunk fairy.
I would have to say my favorite candy was the crunch bar

I have 2 favorites as a kid. A Mummy, I got to help tear up the sheet for the strips. As a kid I loved that lol. And I was Pebbles from the Flinstones. I got to where a bone in my hair! :)Favorite candy was Sweet Tarts.
I was just looking back through some Halloween pix of my kids. I guess my favorite would be leprechaun. When I was little, I once went as a playing card.Favorite candy - chocolate bars
Oooo I hadn't thought of the animals. Connie- a leprechaun... really? That is one I would have never thought of. I'd love to hear the story how that came about.
I was always sick near Halloween, one year my mom didn't get me a costume because I had been sick. Last minute she decided I could go out for a bit. So we had to improvise a costume. She made me a ghost, but she only had a light blue sheet she was willing to cut holes in. She told me it was Inky from Pac-man. I remember being a ghost was lame, but Inky was super cool (because yeah Pac-Man was really big back then).
Since I have 4 kids, when they were little I couldn't spend a lot of time or money on costumes, so we'd go to a local rummage sale which was always held at the end of September. They'd have the chance to dig around in the piles of clothes and figure out a costume. One year we found Western clothes, so 2 of the kids went as cowboys. One year we found lots of uniforms, so the boys were soldiers. This time there was a bright green suit jacket, so my son decided to be a leprechaun, starting with that. He got a cheap plastic bowler hat and added green stickers and a pompom, then he found bright green socks. He rolled up his pants so the socks showed, and he was set to go. Looked great, and he had spent some time thinking about how it would work. I feel sad when my daughter just goes to the store and buys a costume. We always had fun being creative.
How about a Pick It For Me monthly challenge? A lot of other groups do it around here and it is very fun.

Since comic book movies are so popular now I would like a challenge where you spell out the names of the heroes/villains of Marvel and DC comics. Maybe make a separate challenge for heroes and one for villains.
