Path
Ari and Cam danced around while Sara played her violin. “Such beautiful music you play on that violin, Sara.” Cam called pulling Ari into him and gliding her across the dirt floor. “Why thank you, Cameron.” Sara did a small bow, still playing her Victoria era music. Cam and Ari were acting as high royalty, and they talked with a funny accent. “Is this not great or what my dear Cameron?” Ari asked as she moved her feet so gracefully. “Oh my dear Arriane, I must agree with you. This is quite swell.” Cam smiled at Ari. Sara made her violin play without her and it stood floating in the air. Sara danced up to Cam and Ari. She tapped on Ari’s should and gazed at her. “Young lady do you mind, but can I cut in?” Ari looked back at Cam then her sister. “Well if you must” she laughed and walked over to the floating violin. She stood there watch and at that moment she realized how great Cam looks and was. “He as the most beautiful eyes, and the most perfect hair.” She said talking to herself. Ari called her sister. “Hey Sara do that thing you do with your fingers, when you concentrate really hard and make things appear. Bring me my drums from home.” Sara stepped back from Cam and sat on the floor. She put both hands up facing the sky (heaven) and closed her eyes. There was silence for a long moment, then Sara stood, eyes still closed, and snapped her fingers. Right beside Sara’s violin, appeared Ari’s old drums. “Yes” Ari sang. She ran and hugged her sister. Sara and Cam continued their dance. Ari missed her drums. They were black with blue flames on the rim and one big flame in the center. Ari ran her fingers over her drums. She began to bang softly going to the beat of the violin. The sun was just setting under the tree tops, but the rays weren’t ready to leave. They shone their orangey yellow through the leaves. Sara and Cam stopped dancing and watched Ari beat her drums. She didn’t realize the violin stopped playing and floated to the ground to rest; so now she was rocking out to her own heavy beat. “I didn’t know you could play like that” Cam said, now standing behind Ari. She paused for a moment and turned to face him “Why thank you” she smiled a huge grin spreading across her face. “*Cough cough*,” Sara did a fake cough in her fist. “Oh right, um…well…” Ari added not making eye contact with Cam or Sara and sliding back down in her stool; Cam stepping back and leaning against a tree. “So we danced, and ate, now what,” Sara mentioned. “Well I told some people we were hear but I don’t know who’s coming haha” Ari announced.
Zeke stood ontop on a tree near a path with his wings fully extended. He grinned thinking of the image of himself, for he knew he was attractive. He felt the cool freeze blow through his shaggy hair. He liked the wind it reminded him of flying, and he adored to fly. It made him feel free, and reminded of simpler times before the fall with his sister. He wrinkled his nose, and sniffed the air smelt them, and he also hear them talking. I should go introduce myself he thought. He knew this was a place were a lot of fallen resided, and he thought maybe enrolling here and communicating with his own kind might help him find his sister... thats if she wants to be found he thought. He slowly started beating his wing, and his feet hovered a just above the tree branch. He closed his eyes, and took in thier sent. He was off almost at lighting speed. He gentely landed on his feet on a path infront of three fallen. With his wings still extended wide he held out his hand and said in a sturdy voice
"Hello, my name is Zeke."
While they waited for some of the others to show up, fire ball came out of nowhere and skimmed the side of Cam’s head. “Oh Shiz! What the hell?” Cam shouted standing up and patting the spot where the fire hit his head. Sara and Ari stood also, and rushed to Cam. “Let me see it.” Ari ordered. But Cam wouldn’t move his hand. Ari had to peel his hand off like a band aid. Sara pulled Cam towards the waterfall, nearby, while Ari looked at his wound. “OH MY GOD! Sara look.” Sara leaned over Cam, “Holy ---“ Cam kneeled down on the grass and let Ari and Sara need his wound. They stuck his head under the water to wash it. “OWWW!” Cam shouted and pulled his head out. “That waters really cold and it makes my wound sting.” “Well its working and cleaning out the burn.” Ari pouted. “Ugh fine” and Cam stuck his head back under the water, while Ari rubbed the burned skin away.
“Awww how cute, no? Don’t you think Sara?” Came a dark voice from within the shadows of the trees. Sara didn’t reply and Ari and Cam stood up, ready to fight. Sara slid down behind so rocks, she was utterly terrified. “Who’s there? Identify yourself, NOW!” Cam shouted. “Kevin’s the name” he stated, immerging for the shadows. “Kevin!?” Ari and Sara shouted in unison. Cam spun around and glanced at Sara then back around and to Ari. “You know this, this JERK?” he asked. “Sadly” Ari said narrowing her eyes on Kevin. She was ready throw down with Kevin. Ari hated him with such a burning passion that it stung her inside. “Why the hell are you here? Where’d you come from?” Ari announced very firmly. “Well, well. Ari is that the way to treat an old friend” Kevin smirked. “ WE WERE NEVER FRIENDS!” Ari shouted. “Go to- she was cut off. “Go where? Hell, been there already. Ha.” Kevin blurted out. Not before long a war broke out between the two and things went flying. Ari and Kevin were always fighting ever since Kevin messed with Sara seven years ago. Cam stepped in to help Ari.
When Ari ducked away to where Sara was she was gone. “Shiz” Ari whispered. Ari looked around in the thick haze of smoke, coming from all the fire balls being thrown between Cam and Kevin. “Sara! Sara!” Ari shouted. She couldn’t find her sister anywhere. She made her way back to Cam. “Cam, have you seen Sara.” “No, why- he look up from her, “found her.” He pointed to Kevin. Kevin had his arm around Sara’s waist, pulling her to him. With the other hand he threw fire balls, then ice crystals. “SARA!” Ari shouted. “This is it Kevin! This time I’m going to KILL you and you can finally stop bother my family!” Ari wings untwined and where utterly tall. But they were the prettiest to, with that touch of the gold that made them sparkled. She flew in the air going up ,up, up. Higher and higher until she was out of site. Then she dove downward and pulled her wings in tightly against her body. Ari came back in site, but Kevin didn’t see her coming. She hit him hard with a bow she’s been carrying around. It went directly threw his shoulder. He dropped Sara and she fled, into the forest somewhere. Cam did the same. His wings were tall and beautiful too. He took the star shot from his pocket and let it fly. Ari had Kevin pinned to a tree and backed off to let him hit the floor in time for the star shot to slice Kevin’s side. He began to bleed. By the time Ari and Cam approached Kevin he was laying on the ground, blood all around him. It was flowing out of him like a river. “What do we do?” Cam asked, with a sick look on his face. “We go out and search for my sister and we leave him here. Either some Demons will find him and take him back or he’ll die here.” Ari advised. Cam nodded. They both pulled their wings back to their shoulders. Sara wasn’t the greatest flyer, but she was good; although chances are she isn’t in the sky. “OK- Ari said as they began to sprint out of the forest. “You look for Sara, while I go get the other for help. If you find her before I get back or before me, CALL me immediately .” With that Ari headed to the school and Cam headed to the forest.
((Sorry wrote alot haha, but this is the good part, cuz Kevin shows up XD))
((Sorry i was typing while you posted and it didnt show untile after i went to chat, so they left , but they'll be back. ☺ she went to get the other for help)) ((oh OFF- pick this up tommorrow☺))
Zekes eyes widened as he saw the huge ball of fire coming towards them. He quickly dodged out of the way and sprinted to a faraway tree. He got there in under a second, for being extremely fast was one of his talents. He ducked behind the tree, and got into a position where could see everything. He watched this small battle between the three fallen which he wasnt sure about yet, and the demon. He thought back to the introduction, and everything happened so fast he realized that probably didnt even notice him. He shrugged, and retracked his enormous wings. He decided to go enroll into the school, so he darted to the front office. He didnt need to use his wings he was just as fast on the ground as he was in the air.
Zeke returned to the path, and sat on a tree bracnch.
Juliana strutted the path, she thought it was time to make up with her brothers. However, instead of running into Julius or Darien she saw the others further up the path. "Great" Juliana said in a monotone voice.
Ari landed so gently on the ground in the Center (circle, open area where they meet) of the path, and waited for some to come. As she walked back and forth with crazy, scary thoughts racing through her mind, she spotted Juliana. “Oh, thank God.” Ari jogged over to her. She called out to her. “Juliana, Im glad you’re here. The other on their way, I need your help, come here. I’ll explain everything once everyone shows up.
"Ok ok... calm down. Your all over the place. Deep breaths" julie said motioning with her hands
"BreaTH, I think I forgot how to." Ari was in a deep panic now. "Oh, my god were are the others. Were losing time." Ari was a bout to burst into tears. Her mother would nevr forgive her if she lost her siter, for it's her reponisbility.
Ok OK" Ari told herself. "Breath Ari, breath" Ari was not sitting criss cross apple sause and hinding her face in her hands. she kept her eys close to keep the tears from coming out. "CAM!" Ari cried out, her head back looking up to the sky. Juliana stood trying to help but she didnt know what to do, or what excatly was wrong. But Cam was probably to far to hear her. She hopes her siter is safe. Ari stood up and walked over to a tree crying into her arm.
Zeke heard a girl crying, and rolled his eyes. Girls are so over emotional he thought. He hoped up onto the tree branch and extended his wings they started beating rapidly as his feet lifted off the branch. He followed the girls sobs. The wind was making his mess hair even messier, but he didnt mind he thought he looked sexier that way as he finished the thought he gently landed on his feet next to the two girl. He studied them. "Can I asist my help?" he said in a firm voice.
Ari's head poped up in a flash. She did a quick look to Juliana the took a step towards the strnge guy in front of her. "Nice hair" she started, She didnt mean, just need to joke around to lighten up the mmod. "Yes, you can help. Um... went ru human?" Ariwasnt sure if he was than it would sound like a jok. If he wasnt than he'll get what shes saying.
He grinned, and released his huge black, silver, and blue wings from his back. He looked at her and said "Guess not. My name is Ezekiel, but you can call me Zeke."
"Oh good cuz if you were human, you couldnt help me, ha" Ari said completely looking over his wings. "well, Zeke, Im Ari. Thats Juliana. And I can use your help" Ari gazed around what taking everyone forever to get here. She looked for Darien- anyone. "Look my sister Sara's gone and we need to find her ASAP. K" Ari sounded like a snob but didnt care. Sje was way to made and what not to car what he thinks. "So use your wings ans flyyyyy!"Ari said flapping her arms.
He giggled. "A little bit stressed arent we? Well it would be more useful if you told me where to start looking, and what happened to her. Me flying around aimlessly probably wont help your cause, now would it?" He gazed down at her, and looked back at Ari "Nice to meet you Ari."
"WEll, WEll, Well. Huh?" she tunred around, then back to face him. "ok i'll shorten it for you. SHe is my lil sis, her name is Sara ans if she dies, I die. K? She ran off turning a fight that happpen a feew ago" Ari pointed to a spot between to oak tree. "Anyway Cam he's already searchin. IDK were she'll be but just check on campus for now. She has only been her for 2 days sp she doesnt know many ppl or the campus yet, and I didnt take her any clubs yet so shes not off campus. She can be very stubbern, much like me only younger-14- blond hair, get it? When she found put i loved through the Fall she left in search form me and found me. If you find her tell her who you are or she'' take you down or she'll run cuz she's scared. OK so fly." Ari made the flying motion with her arms again. SHe was smiling now, feeling a litttle better. "Im stayong here until the other come and incase Mr.Trouble awakes from his hard hits wiht a star shot and bow"
"So that is what's happening?" Juliana interrupted. "Was waiting for a coherent explanation. What does she look like?" she asked as her dark magnificent wings extended from her back, she sighed, it felt good to let them out.
Zeke rolled his eyes. "Alright, alright. I will go look for her."
He wrapped his wings around his body. He liked doing that before he pushed off for flight, and he pushed his feet into the air expanding his wing. They started beating slowly as he hovered a few feet from the ground. "Dont do anything fun without me." he smiled, and took off. He was in the air above the trees of the path. Where should I start looking he wondered. He saw a green house, and took a big breath and headed in its direction.
"I'm going to call Darien and Julius to get over here." Juliana said out loud. She only said this to put up a solid mask, the truth is she only needed a reason to reconcile with them and this unknown girl was the perfect reason.
Darien landed on the start of the path, it was empty. "Hello!?" he called to the night.
"Helo" Ari replyed. "My sister is gone missing and I need everyones help. So far it me Cam, you, new guy Zeke, and your sis. Im getting really worried now." As Ari explained everything, she hear a small moan and the leaves rusling. Her head wipped qaround. "Oh no." she said, and out from the trees came a bloodly Kevin, who looked more like an undead zombie than a boy. "Shiz!" Ari whispered. She motioned for the two to follow her.

"Okay," Darien said and nodded. "I'll go look for her." He extended his wings further and pushed off the ground with a grand sweep.
Ari wishpered. "Thats Kevin, the devils son. He's been a Pure Blood Demon since he was 7. And he has alway been a bother to me and Sara. I told him next time I see him I was going to kill him. Guess he still never got the message. Anyway me and Cam handled him pretty well. See Sara's afraid of him, I think thats why she ran." Ari galnced in the direwction Kevin was in. he was sitting against a tree holding his side.

Ari ran out and grabbed Angels arm pulling her down with the other."Shhhh" Ari said show Angel that it was her and not some random person. "He will be fine, his shoulder will heald and what not. Although I wish I got him in the heart." Angel looked at Ari stunnded. Ari only smriked.

"It's such along story. I'll explain later, but in the mean time we have to sneak off and help Cam, Darien, and new guy Zeke to find Sara." Ari looked around saying it to everyone. "Ok well, his names Kevin- knowing Angel wanted to know- and hes bad newm like bad, we dont talk to him EVER!. And he's been a bother forever and well Satans son. So ya." She waited for Angel to reply

"Sara... Sara i9s my sister. younger sister. My mother didnt want to come here to see me, she was afraid of losiong Sara. But she stubbern and well she here. Not anymore tho, she smoewhere on campus and we need to find her. She is very scared og Kevin thats why she ran." Ari looke over at Kevin then back at Angel. They both noticed him coming their way. Ari pointed to Angels hand, and Angel knew excatly what Ari wanted her to do. She opened her hand and threw fire right at Kevins stomach. He flew back screaming from the burn. Ari got up and let her wings out. THe others did the same and they lifted themselfs into the Ari. "Lets spilt up." They nodded. Ari and Angel went to the school cemetary, while juliana checked th pool and library.

Zeke walked through he path kicking a rock infront of him. He needed to find his sister, that was his top priority. That was why he came here wasnt it? He was starting to think he came here because he was sick of being alone. He hung is head low, and he exhaled as his gigantic wings flew out from his back. He beat his wings slowly as he ascended to a nearby tree branch. I have never met a fallen that doesnt sit around in trees he thought. I guess we like the height. Natural. He sat there rumuging through his thoughts.
Ari dance around the Center if the path. "It's so peaceful" she said as the wind blew her hair back. She was all alone and was happy. Happy for the first time in awhile. She let her mind go free and everything just drip out of her. Ari had so many worries and troubles. She worries about her sister being here, and her live. Ari worries about Angel and how she has no wings anymore. Also about Cam, and what he’s been up to and who’s he been talking to at the latest hours. But out of everyone and everything she cares about and worries about, Kevin is on the top of her list. She doesn’t know where he went or if the Demons came to get him, but all she knows is that he's not here anymore. She fears he might return. Not only him but Fairy. Ari wants none of her friends she made to meet Fairy. But most of all find out that those too are cousins. She kept the secret from Sara ever since and doesn’t need her to find out. Her or anyone else. Ari stopped spinning and glanced around the woods. She thought she heard someone coming but shrugged it off. Ari slid back against a huge oak tree and let gravity take her down to the ground. When she hit the soft green grass she felt all the worries and weight come back on her shoulders. “There’s just too much to handle” She wailed. Ari rested her head on the trunk of the great oak. Thoughts raced through her mind. She just wished to disappear for once. Go to a place where everything was the way she wanted it to be. Where everything was at peace and peaceful. Where she could be herself and not always this brave, tough, kick- ass, chick. She closed her eyes and listen to the sound of the water, nearby.
Lilith walked down the path, hoping to find someone to talk to.
Juliana strutted the path. Her mascara smeared. She wiped off some excess from one eye and walked on. Never looking back.
Ari woked to the sound of feet crunching on leaves. She snapped her head forward and jumped on the tree branch above. "Please, if this is Kevin, Im going to scream." she whispered. She held the branch tight and was sitting like a bird. She waited for whoever it was to pass.
Juliana heard a girls voice... something about a guy named Kevin. She wiped whatever remnants of her make up and continued to walk.
Ari jumpped from the tree ready to fight. She hit the ground and landed perfectly on her feet. She looked up. "Juliana?" she said confused.
So that was who was yelling. "Someone is eager to fight." Juliana said looking at Ari's tense position.
"Wha...what.. Hi" Ari was confused, she was excpeting Kevin, but wrong guess. "Are you ok, your make-up looks a little, messy" She asked, now relaxed.
"I was going for the whole rocker, don't give a f### look." she said swiping underneath her eye unconsciously.
"Oh, I see" Ari said lauging. "Hey, it works for you." she added patting her shoulder. "Rock ON!" Ari walked back to her tree and jumped in the branch and sat down. "So, Juliana, What brings you out to the path?"
Lilith noticed a girl wiping at her makeup. She hesitated for a second, but kept walking to a rock and sat down.
"Uhmmm... just strolling..." Juliana said tentatively.
@Lilith "Hey!" said a silent voice behind her. Soft enough that only she could hear it. "Don't tell them I'm here" said the whisper from the bushes.
"Just strollin? Huh. I see. Well since your out here, want to keep me comapny?" she gave her best puppy dog eyes and her sweetes smile.((shes a demon right-juliana))
