"Sure," she said, holding him.
'he's been with me for 3 years now, i rescued him from a burning building and he never left my side' he said
"Oh," she said, petting him. "I had my husky forever...I got him as a puppy when I was young. He has this bond with me that if I die, he dies.
((something dramatic should happen.))
"really i have the same connection to my ferret" he sent her
((haha got and idea...hehe *evil laugh*))Thalia smiled and handed him back. Just then, a knife reached over Otis's throat.
Otis looked over his shoulder to see who it was but couldn't make out a face.
It was dark and covered. Thalia loaded her bow. "Shoot and he dies," came a raspy voice. She bit her lip and lowered it. The knife came closer to his neck.
"sir i recommend you let go of me" he said though his mind
The man chuckled. "Fool." Thalia dropped her weapon and put her hands behind her back and backed up, looking as if she wasn't going to get involved. She secretly flicked a flame.
"sir i give you one last warning or else" Otis sent to him
The knife came closer, blood forming on the knife. Suddenly, Thalia made a swift hand movement and a large blue flame wrapped around the man. He screamed and writhed and his hood unvieled his face: her long lost brother. Shocked, she lost concentration and he fell to the ground, burned and bloody.
Otis escaped when the flame hit but he got hit by the fire "who was that" Otis asked holding his burnt arm
She didn't respond. A flow of anger approched her. Her brother always hated her when she was young, and she was sure the fire she made killed him too. She walked up to him and he pleaded for help. Than uncontrollable fury came back to her and she finished him off, sending an arrow through his head.
Otis just looked watched there was nothing he could do, he had faced a situation like this with his brother but it did not end in death. He went up to her and comforted her
A ball of fire licked at her right hand. Her soft eyes were wild and rigid with anger.
"its ok, i understand" Otis said putting his arm around her
"You don't understand," she said, flinging her bow on the ground.
"well tell me, and maybe i will understand" he said
She took a shaky breath and looked at him. "Well...when I was young...my powers got out of control one night...I killed my parents and burned down the house...my brother used to torment me and tease me, and I reached my breaking point...I was sure everyone was dead, even him..."
"wow, i can still relate to that, When i was younger i shifted and my transformed shape almost destroyed everything. My older brother had to stop me and thats how i became a Mute" he said
She looked down. "Oh..." she said. "I'm sorry..."
"its ok, if he didn't do that i would have destroyed everything" he said
She looked away. "When I first got my powers, I burned myself badly...ever since, I wore these bandages," she said, motioning to her bandage wrapped palms. "To cover the ugly."
"yeah you see this charm on my neck, i ware it to help me shift in and out of states" he said pulling out his charm. it had the shape of a gray wolf. "my brother gave this to me"
She didn't say anything, but just looked at it.
Otis tucked it back in. "its been 10 years since i've seen my brother" he said looking down at his feet
She bit her lip. "I'm sorry..."
"no please don't, if there is one thing i hate its pity" he said putting his finger on her lips
She just looked into his eyes
Otis looked into hers. something must have clicked in his mind because he then pulled her closer and gave her a long kiss
She was a bit surprised but just leaned into the kiss.
"i really love you" Otis said during the kiss
She smiled under the kiss
She closed the gap between them
She kissed with the same force.
Otis then pulled away "i wanted to do that since i first saw you"
She blushed. "I have to admit that too..."
Otis smiled "so what do you want to do" Otis asked
She smiled back and shrugged.
"Me too," she said.
"Sure." She thought for a second. "Wanna see my home?"
"yeah i would like to see your home" Otis said
