This book was so entrancing. When i read it, it really changed a lot for me. I was homeschooled when i read it, and the idea being launched into public school without any will on my part terrified me.
this was a good mix of sad and good
This book was great! I loved it so much the first time I read it, I made it a tradition of mine to read it every summer! I've read it three times. I love being home schooled!!!
This book was so great. It's just one of those books that you always would wanna read, and then pass it down to your kids one day.

Not at all! We are part of a group called the ******** Area Homeschoolers, and its a home-school group of 60 or more families. We all know each other, all the parents know each other, the kids respect the adults and the adults respect the kids--every month we have Classic Movie Night, where we discuss classic movies such as Rear Window. It's super fun! We also do Toastmasters, a speaking organization, and we took a trip to 6 Flags once. And when my brothers, who are Boy Scouts, go to serve at Culver's, many families from our group come to eat while the boys serve us! I love being homeschooled, but I absolutely don't have anything against public school-goers; my cousins and one of my friends go to public school. But, being homescooled is an amazing experience, and its certainly right for us! I don't get lonely at all. =)
I have been home-schooled for seven years. I really like it. I know plenty of people who are public-schooled, and plenty of people who are home-schooled. Don't think stereotypical. I'm a sophomore in high school, I go to a co-op where I take classes from teachers once a week, and do the homework throughout the week. I am crazy about maintaining good grades, and plan on going to college! Do you understand better, now?

Compared to Kendall's post I make it seem like homeschooling is all fun and games....Sorry :P We have lots of homework and I'm currently buried under a mountain of it.Thanks, Mays! I'm sure whatever you are doing in your life you'll be happy, too!

TikiPaws12 wrote: "Joy has nothing to do with what happens to you."What do you mean by that? And who is joy?
Joy is an emotion. I mean that if you have joy then no one should be able to take that away from you.
oh ya but its ow it is and it will never change my life is always going to be sad and i am always going to be bullied
I'm just saying being bullied doesn't mean you can't have joy. :) I'm really sorry you're bullied. It's not right. It's not ever easy.
Well i cant have joy i am in 10Th grade and when came to this life i never got joy or had joy even at home
Would you think I didn't care if I said something you won't care for?"I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
John 14:6
