Ben Moser This section of my book was very very eventful. Johnny and Pony decide to lay down in the lot and watch the stars for a little bit before they both go home for the night. They fall asleep and Darry is pissed when Pony showsup two hours past curfew. Darry hits Pony and they run away. In the park later Pony and Johnny get surrounded by socs. The ones who showed tup to pick up the girls they found in the movies. I can not believe what johnny did its ridiculous! I do not think that they made the right decision to run to Dally instead of go to the cops or Darry. I am excited to see what comes next.

Lyla Neko It was for the best. Darry couldn't have really helped any, the cops wouldn't have believed them because they're "juvenile delinquents" and they would both be put in jail. Dally was their only option to get them out of it.

MizziQ Besides, Dally was who they trusted. Darry had hit Ponyboy, so they were nervous about going back there, and Dally was known for knowing what to do and they knew he would have their backs. Simple as that, they trusted him, and he did good by his word.

Lyla Neko Yesh. :)

Saleemah The movie was good but not as good as the book

Elizabeth Wow, I had never really thought about that before. But if Pony and Johnny HAD gone to the police, where would the plot have gone? Just let the main character(s) rot and die in a jail cell?

Lyla Neko Exactly, Elizabeth, there wouldn't be much of a story to tell.

Adilynn Girardot They went to Dally because out of all the greasers in their gang he was the most criminal. He'd been in this kind of situation before, so he knew what to do.I'm glad they went to Dally. It made the book far more interesting.
