Sooo Sarah are you talking just in Twilight or in the whole series because there are 2446 pages in the whole series which makes 196 times not really that big of a deal. Its not like she just said it over and over again it was pretty well spaced out. Plus Stephenie Meyer is not a veteran writer these are her first books so you have to cut her a little slack.

And as far as drooling over the series...I for one read these books way back when they first came out about two years ago before the whole hype even began. Yes some of the girls on here may be a little over the top but hey I think its great that they are reading period...in a time and age when life is over run with WII's,I pods, cell phones and computers seeing young people read is really great wether they are reading the Twilight series or anything else as a mom and a former teacher it makes me really happy!!

Well, reading is reading no matter how you look at it and just like you we have our own opinion on what is good and what is not. No Twilight is not the best book out there nor is it the worst. I have spent time looking at other peoples reviews of some books that are considered classics and pure writing genius and found that even books that my professors recommend have gotten some really bad reviews. Everyone has the right to like whatever they want and because of the first amendment we also have the freedom of speech to say what we think. Just like the Twilight haters who post about how stupid people are that like the books.

I have to ask though if you don't like what people on here have to say then why choose to read it in the first place. I mean you obviously don't care what we have to say so why bother....

Let me repeat: Your group insulted us and you expect us to do nothing? It's like slapping someone in the face and expecting her to just stare. Really now.

Ok let me start by saying that I have never ever called anyone who hates Twilight for whatever reason any names ect. I personaly think that if what we have to say really bothers you that much then maybe you should find something better to do with your time than come on here and read what others have to say. I have visited your Twilight haters groups and you guys are no different. I just don't choose to join them and post messages.

As for the freedom of speech bit it has to do with us being able to say whatever we want on here...the same as you have the right to say whatever you want on your little message boards.

I also hope that your generation which ever that may be will broaden their variety but at least this is a start in the right direction...most people who have read Twilight have gone on to read other books from the same or different genres. Reading is great and I think wether it is Stephenie Meyers or some other writer it is all raeding!!

1. I didn't say you insulted me or people like me, I said the group did. Please stop taking what I say personally, because all of this is rather general.
2. I respond to insults by proving the insult wrong. I don't just turn a blind eye and pretend nothing ever happened. I don't attack rashly, bash stupidly, or retort blindly. If you want to prove other Twilight haters wrong, or let them be, I hardly care.
3. There is a difference between simple Reading Comprehension and Analytical, Critical Thinking. First to fourth graders focus on Reading Comprehension. My generation (specifically fifteen year-olds) should move on to the latter by now.

Just so you know I'm not taking anything you say personally. I think that we have reached a point where we just have to agree to disagree. Some people on this planet read for pure enjoyment not for critical thinking...when I want that I read for school. You seem to be seriously bothered by what the people on here have to say but in the long run does any of it matter?? Most of the girls on here read what you post and just say BLAH BLAH BLAH! I agree with you completely Stephanie. I am suprised that people who hate Twilight are joining a Twilight Lovers group just to post how much they hate it. Seems completely pointless to me to be honest. Its kind of like Britney Spears turning up at a Slipknot concert - there's bound to be problems. Ppl are very passionate about their love of Twilight on here and no one's going to change their minds. We need to accept that and move on!

Ok, im really confused how this had become a slanging match. Its a book at the end of the day. People have different opinions, it makes us individual and interesting. If we all had the same opinions it would be a very boring world. I dont understand why some people are so passionate about making the people who do enjoy these books feel bad. You don't like this book, fair enough so why waste your time in a lovers group? If you dislike it enough that you would like to discuss the reasons fair enough, why not join the haters group where you can discuss it with like minded people? Wouldn't that make more sense? I THINK we can't just hate others for hating what you love. I love Twilight and I can say my opinions about it, and haters can, too. Because sometimes, what makes haters hate Twilight more is some of us just can't understand the freedom of expression for everyone. Like what others say, 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.' But well, I'm annoyed by them sometimes because they're getting overboard like the book not being close to 'literature' and so on. And do they need to insult the author? hmm..
