What do you think of the Twilight Haters group?
My "friend" (she thinks i'm her friend) reads Twilight and is not obsessed! SHE'S ON NEW MOON! SHE BEEN ON IT FOR LIKE, 2 MONTHS! SHE HASN'T READ ANYTHING AND SHE SAYS, "I'm only reading it cause if not you guys would kill me" (which IS true by the way...) SHE THINKS IT WEIRD!!!!!!!!!
Actually... we are NOT a bunch of retards and we talk properly. We actually DO read and we read something else than Twilight. Have you ever heard of Ken Follett? Charles Dickens? Even Diana Wynne Jones? You know, Those SMART and creative books? To be honest... we HAVE!And here's a question for you... who makes a forum about other people who have other opinions than yours? and you accuse us of being retarded? *scoff*
Please... read actual literature before you accuse us so.
Lastly, most of us have read Twilight because we USED to be like you... TWIHARDS.
I was over obsessed with the series as some of our members WERE, that I was tempted to buy the bracelet Jacob made for Bella on SM's web.
Just because we don't like the same book as you girls and guys do, doesn't mean we're retarded. Honestly... check how you all talk compared to our group.
Hate is NOT from ignorance, it is from knowledge that we DO have the ability to choose for ourselves what we like... and what we don't like. It is also of knowledge that not everyone has the same opinion.
If you also look at our group, we have members who, like you, LOVE twilight and still befriend us. That's because they are open minded and have accepted the truth of the world. You can't please every body but you can try to understand them.
We, in return, welcome them as long as they do not insult us. We only insult back if you do so. Heard of Karma?
You girls and guys need to stop being immature and accept that other people don't like what you so acclaimed to be the how-could-anyone-possibly-hate-this-book.
And honestly... "who wants to help me bug the twilight haters in goodreads?" HAH! Think again.
If you accuse me of being a hypocrite, I could only tell you this. You cannot expect a hater to not come to this forum since when this was DIRECTLY addressed for us haters.
We haters would NOT bug you unless you bug us or do something stupid and immature like making a forum about hating us haters.
If we knew any better... you're just some bunch of kids who apparently haven't read good literature or haven't taken into account that there is something called 'opinions'.
You guys, she is right, the people over in the haters group really are fun to talk to, and I was really mad like all of you were when i found out but seriously, has there ever been a book that you despised? i think that it's ok, and it's all just fun, it shouldn't be so serious. ----------

I pretty much agree with what Candy-Rain said. It IS an opinion people; not everyone is going to like Twilight.Except for that last part... "you're just some bunch of kids who apparently haven't read good literature."
You cannot say that every person on here hasn't read "good literature" because they like Twilight.
Isn't that just another opinion? And what is "good" or "bad" literature? Again... An opinion?
