I don't care if they don't like it. I love it, and that what matters to me.
exactly Steph....its getting old now! Its like they think they're on a mission to save the world by converting one Twilight Lover at a time! Besides most of the conversation here is about how we were saying there are some people who hate it and havent even red it, if that doesnt apply to you, then DUH, move on! Why waste so much time on something you supposedly hate!

Why can't we just stay out of their groups if they stay out of ours?
Hey, guys. I'd like to contribute a bit, since there are a TON of "Twi-hater" stereotypes out there.First things first: I'm an active member of the "Twilight Haters" group. But before you go crazy and kill me, just hear me out a bit.
When a new person joins, it usually goes in a three-step pattern.
1) Join group.
2) Rant for 2-4 posts about why you don't like Twilight. Give valid reasons for disliking it.
3) Forget about Twilight and talk about random stuff.
I'm totally serious. We actually spend most of our time talking about other things- school, other books, movies, writing, drawing. (We also spend a disproportionate amount of time talking about our favorite anime, but that's irrelevant.)
The point is, we're just people who have our own opinions. It's not like one day we just decided to hate Twilight without even learning anything about it. I'd say about 98% of us have read at least the first book. There are also a lot of people who actually used to LIKE Twilight (and for some, used to be Twilighters. Like me, for example).
You guys have groups about how you like Twilight. If that's so, then we're entitled to have groups about how we don't like it. It's only fair.
And no, I'm not here just to spam up the group. I genuinely like having discussions about Twilight, whether the person likes Twilight or hates its guts. As long as there's no mindless screaming about how "EDWARD ISSSS SOOOO HAWT~~" or "I HATE TWILIGHT BECAUSE IT'S STUPID AND THAT'S ALL."
...and that's my rant of the day. I'm not trying to start a fight, I'm just trying to clear up some misconceptions. (Yes, there ARE some sane Twi-haters out there, just as there are sane Twi-lovers.)
And also, if there are any Haters that come and shriek mindlessly about how "TWILGHT ISS SOOOO DUMNBBBB," then I apologize on their behalf. It's completely obnoxious when Lovers come spam our group, so it must be obnoxious to you guys, too. :/

Though most people in this group have trouble with people who dont agree with eeverything they agree in.
Actually lately we have had some rude Twi-haters join the group who go to the extreme of being condescending and flat out rude to us just because we like it. Most people in the group understand that each person has their own opinion, but when twi-haters start bashing individuals then it turns out to be really harrasing and annoying!We understand the stereotypes dont apply to everyone, and we welcome intelligent Twi-haters (like Nightshade) that can voice their opinions and have good conversation about the book.
I don't hate anybody, well... my brother and sister. :)

Yes, I'm with Nightshade. I read the first one and didn't like it, but I'm not an extremist. And no I didn't not like it just because I didn't want Harry Potter competetors, like being different (although it seems I am), or just hate vamps. Look, I am a hater, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna shove it in your face and say it's crap. Peace y'all.

I wanted to see the opinions, weigh mine in, and just have general fun. I'm not here to be an anarchist of the group, trust me.
Plus it seems like this is the parallell universe of the Haters group. You love on Twilight for a bit then talk about random stuff.

And when you think about it and read the past comments, we didn't really argue on Twilight.

secretly i think they love the book i mean whats not to like??? I think that they just don't want to admit to their obsession. How can amy girl NOT love a true love story its what we alll dream of right???
