Félix (habitseven) I'm ready for a beer fest. Janine? How about you?

Or maybe even both! Congratulations to him, Jammies.

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Jammies brother may be a multi-tasker.

message 57: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Dan is a brewer, and he won a Gold for his Uberbrau in the American-Style Amber Lager (the beer had to be submitted under the name of his employer, Humperdink's Restaurant and Brewery).

Here are all the winners: http://www.greatamericanbeerfestival....

Jammies Arnulfo, is English your second or third or fourth language?

Oh, don't worry about me, I think I'll be fine.

message 60: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) I just want to say that I hope I can find a new office today so that I can settle. I'm finding it hard to concentrate.

message 61: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Arnulfo, I think because you are not a native English speaker, you missed the undertone of giving permission to Barb to be herself as if she couldn't do it without your permission. I do agree with you that humans can be difficult, but I congratulation you on learning 4 languages while I still muddle along in one.

Janice, I also wish to say that I hope you can find the perfect new office today!

message 62: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) Thanks Jammies. I have to be out of my current space by Oct 14th. I learned last week that the suite of offices in which I have an office was leased out and they want immediate possession. The timing really sucks for me!

message 63: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Sister Jammies, you are very charitable today.

message 68: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Not to mine.

message 69: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Arnulfo, thank you for the nice apology, and I'm sure you do better than "muddling" in at least two of the four languages. ;)

message 70: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Well, I can't really speak for anyone other than myself on this. But I am acutely aware that there are times when I lack sensibilities.

Félix (habitseven) Arnulfo wrote: "Felix, that is funny. I take myself and the world too seriously.
At this point do we highfive or backhand?"

I think a belly bump would be called for here.

message 72: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Is a belly bump the same thing as that baby bump they're always talking about in celebrity news?

message 73: by ~Geektastic~ (new)

 ~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments God, I hope not.

message 74: by Félix (last edited Oct 03, 2011 02:11PM) (new)

Félix (habitseven) It was just an impulsive idea. Since we will probably never meet in real life, it's strictly academic, anywho.

message 75: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I have been to Tehachapi, though. Land of windmills.

message 76: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments An academic belly bump? Is that what the polar bears on the south pole do?

message 77: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Exactly Dutchgirl. Exactly. So clever you are.

I really wish we could pay people to sleep for us and then transfer the rest in an I.V.

When I'm eating them, I don't really care if my morels are feminist or misogynist.
