brother william has a conversation with the abbot. they are discussing about the horse brunellus, until they were interupted by abo, adelmo of otranto a young monk known for his decorating manscripts of the library, was found at the bottom of the cliff,william and abbot suspected that he had fallen during the night. no one knows for sure, as the conversation is over william is prohibited from entering the top of the library, william suspects that there is something going on with the abbot.
