EJ still had his bow and arrow, but no one seemed to notice or care about him. He stayed a little in the shadows, in case this new girl couldn't be trusted.

Mysterie smiled. "So, Are you in, or are you out?" She held out her hand.
Mysterie laughed. "Do you deliberitely try to creep people out, E?" She picked up her sword and sheathed it.
"It's not creepy, mysterious, whooooo!" Celine said, grinning. "I'm Celine. Hello, how are y'all, and aren't we all unlucky?"
She laughed, punching his arm playfully. "When we get out of here, I've got to introduce you to my brothers."
Mysterie rolled her eyes. "Alas, poor Yoric. I knew him well." She quoted Shakespeare, grinning.
{Hm...I'm in a bit of an rping mood >:3 herrherrr.~}
Her eyes were sharp, vibrant and firm. Her eyes were locked onto the group of people. Idiots. Standing in a clearing, being loud as heck. Do they want to get attention to die? Well they got her attention, yet she had urge to kill, not anymore. Emily winced as she felt the blood trickle down her cheeks, coming from a scar that rested above her right eyebrow. Hands on her golden sword and dagger, she stood cautious and quiet, doing her best not to be caught. Hopefully they had food. Emily had already done her hunting on two hares, and yet she needed to pack in some food for her journey through the woods. I'll be a thief...yet I need to survive...no need to play safe unless you want to die... Staying crouched low, she sat a safe distance behind a thorn bush. Coming to her senses, she backed up a bit. Maybe next time she'll make a move but at this time, she'd be outnumbered. That's not good...not at all...

A crack behind him alerted him to a newcomer. He turned around, but saw no one out in the open. That means they were hidden and therefore three times more dangerous. A glint near a thorn bush alerted him to a person's position. He aimed the nocked arrow at the bush, but didn't let it go just yet... perhaps the person would want to join their escape group.
Emily yelped unexpectedly as she saw the arrow aimed at her. Realizing she had just blown away her cover from her shriek, she huffed, and grasped onto the handle of her sword and lifted herself onto her feet, glaring at them. "Don't even dare try to shoot me" she gruffed, her hair in her face from the wind.
"If I wanted to kill you, you'd already be dead," he said. "We have a proposition... join us and try to escape this game or stay here and die?"
Emily's face went blank. Escape? she thought, startled by the idea. Nodding Emily gave out a small sigh, yet a sad emotion sparkled in her brown eyes. "B-but if we leave...would they do anything to our family back at home..?" she asked, rubbing her elbow in worry. "And what would the people in the capitol do to us? Find us and kill us?" she whispered, hoping that the cameras that were around weren't able to here her.
"How would they find us?" he asked. "We're in the middle of nowhere, and why go after our families? We won't know if they did anything so it would be pointless to harm them."
"You know that shot they gave all of us before the games started? Thats a tracking device.... How else do you expect they keep reck where everyone is?"
"That's where I come in. I tricked my trainer into telling me how the device works, and how to get it out. I think, once we get out of here I can remove them, or at least deactivate them."
"Yes, I hated that shot, and squeezed the hole that it left for the longest time, trying to get it out." Celine said with a small smile, "It ended up just getting really, really sore."
"Well now that that's taken care of, off we go!" he walked a little ways but then the ground shook and the volcano began to spit out fire and lava.
"L-lava..." Emily murmured, eyes widening as she backed up, eyes on the vocano that was up ahead. Sheathing in her sword, the burning colors of the lava reflected off her glissening brown eyes as she gulped, legs trembling. "Not againa...not this time..." she muttered to herself. "R-run..."
Mysterie inhaled sharply. "Run. RUN!"
"I think we get the picture," he shouted as he ran into the forest. He jumped over a fallen tree only to land his left foot in a beartrap. "AW, SHIT, Mother F***er!"He began to try and pry the beartrap off from his leg.
Mysterie knelt beside him. "don't move, you'll only make it worse." She carefully pried it open, then bandaged his leg and helped him up, supporting him as best she could.
"What is with the random-ass bear trap in the forest! Come on, the lava is going to get us if we don't move fast enough," he limped ahead.
"Probably there to catch someone off guard."
"No, I meant, I'll shove you away, if you try to stay. I'm not having you die for me, if I'm already going to die... that's kind of the point of these games though."
Mysterie shook her head. "We're not leaving you to die, E. You were the one who brought us together in the first place.
"how can you be so sure of that?"
