They reaped spices, sewed
herbs with rhyme, knotted garlic,
put a stitch in thyme.

I tried. I don't think this makes any sense though.

They worked hard stitching, sewing
Clueless of proper civilization.
They liked not knowing.

Vibrant ignorance
Resting in nature's harsh grace
Alive until not.

"They were no more"
He spoke to the students
Littered across the room.

This history class, fairly new
surely entertained
all the attention it drew.

This idea made him smile
now from curious students

Sleep, for him, brought strange
nightmares of tardy students
and wandering bears.

The nightmare grew worse
when bears mauled all the late kids.
A wretched system.

Weary of wrecking
ivied halls, the bears headed
for the shopping mauls.

[Lee]

He jumped awake,
Covered in sweat,
Retirement flirting into his mind.

A bad night's rest can't be
fixed by his small paycheck.
He was wasting time.

mauled while shopping shoes,
the man who framed his paychecks
came home with bare feet

Went home to relax
Grabbed a box of Honey Nut
Bears showed up again!

But this time, not only
bears, but also Goldilocks
ready to test the chairs.

The largest bear sat
It was a chance to escape;
the chair was too small.

The blind man sat down
Screams echoed the women's room!
He flushed embarrassed.

Ah, the simple things in life. And when simple pleasure go awry? The joy of it is to laugh.

To grin and bear it.
That is the question she thought

With the stench's rise
She was almost high.

Staff hit by 'taters!

Havoc was raised in the
cafe, they had to close
early for the day.

Havoc was too young
to be embarrassed or shy
about cafe life.

“They stink,” quipped Havoc,
tongue in cheek, of splattered guests.
“I’m not what they reek.”

Something that wreaks havoc, such as war or a natural disaster, causes devastation. What I posted was a play on the word wreak.
