And your latest is beautiful and such a subtle continuation! Very nice.
No words did he have
to free him from the disgrace
of the ache he felt.

of summer and first kisses;
breathless, petrichor.
His fingers trembled
childhood's last tattoo, across
her pale, arching spine.

That blue-eyed, long-lashed,
mortal-sins day, Tuesday Weld
starred in Ash Wednesday,
leaving our bared souls
to yearn, who had sprung from dust
and must soon return.

bar, and drinks cheap beer until
his head is quite full.
As his heart longs for
the young girl, that's riding the
mechanical bull.

When Huey asked for Dewey
to start to sue me.
'Before you can run that suit
Get all your ducks in a row.'
