M | 11617 comments The glazed-eyed boobs drew
in fits and starts. Ah, students
in liberal arts!

message 7302: by [deleted user] (new)

Ha! I can't think of a proper response to that! :)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments @ Ryan. Funny, shortly before you posted this I posted a link to an old Billy Idol song Rebel Yell , within which 'more, more, more' is vociferously on display. :-)

Great fun, M and Ryan!

Arts faculty witched,
To complete a learned week,
She stripped, total streak!!!!!!

M | 11617 comments I realize this doesn’t follow Julie’s. It started out with Shelba’s streaking on campus. Then somehow the scene changed to that of a church service.

When, in church, naked
as a rump roast, Shelba streaked
from pillar to post,

her sister choked on
wafer and wine and held up
the Communion line.

Aunt Hortense let out
a piercing scream. Flung panties
hung from the rood beam.

A blonde blur, Shelba
scattered the Host, possessed by
some unholy ghost,

her plump gyrations
on the landing wild, passing
all understanding.

Mesmerized by her
every curve, caught in a spell
of lusts abyssal,

the priest, summoning
his nerve, gripping the lectern,
read the dismissal.

The pipe organ belched
a blue-haze sound--the beeswax
candles were drippers--

the joyous last hymn
all but drowned by an uproar
of heels and zippers.

The doors flew open.
With excited yells, all rushed
down the steps’ old tiles.

As morning echoed
the clang of bells, the faithful
wore only their smiles.

M | 11617 comments Thank you, Ryan!

I think I owe everyone an apology. I got carried away.

Hints of freedom and danger;
A lioness hunts

M | 11617 comments Excellent, Ryan!

message 7313: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Her lion-style hair
was no sane thing. She liked it.
That was the mane thing.

message 7314: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Her hair keeps her there,
Where she can colour her hair
And main-line the Nair.

She cast her hat o'er-
board, boasting: "My bonnet lies
over the ocean."

message 7316: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments She watched. It floated
from D to E. “My bonnet
lies over the C!”

the bonnet was blue.

They consumed the Jim Beam.

message 7320: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments With Jim's consumption,
The sad end of the blue show
Left them wanting more.

message 7321: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments “The cause of Jim’s death?
Consumption,” Doc Tatum drawled.
“That’s my assumption.”

bruised an 'a' on an

message 7350: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (eyrer) Hi! It's been a (really long) while since I've posted anything here, but I just saw the notification regarding M's last comment. It's so cool that this thread is still active! I'm so glad my little idea from when I was in high school has lasted so long. I thought it'd be fun to pop in and add another haiku, since this made me kind of nostalgic :)

His frown deepened, dark
and bitter as he sipped the
caller's breathy sounds.
