Drizzled in decadent guilt
Cake melting in mouth
Only in my dreams
Can I partake in dessert
Can the diet end?

Diet industry
Dropouts, all that winter warmth,
Spare tyres for us all.....
"One moment on your
Lips, a lifetime on your hips!"
Grandmas used to say!

And with his tire or two,
Retreaded his wife.
[Seems I couldn't help but be lame too. :-( ]

The tired man stared glee-fully at the sight.
She pointed her finger and winced at his slumped state,
"come on you hag, i'll brighten your day"

With deft hands and pluck
She took the dead crows in hand
And made the crows stew.

Crows and blackbirds, all
Baked in a pie, doused in best
of chef's pesticides!
