Thoughts of the past creepLike the slow seep of rich cream
On crepes in my sleep.
Sweet creams fluffed overDrizzled in decadent guilt
Cake melting in mouth
Only in my dreams
Can I partake in dessert
Can the diet end?

Dropouts, all that winter warmth,
Spare tyres for us all.....

Lips, a lifetime on your hips!"
Grandmas used to say!
His shop’s out of tires.His own need air. His wife, too,
is showing treadwear.
He retired tireless,And with his tire or two,
Retreaded his wife.
[Seems I couldn't help but be lame too. :-( ]
Being retreaded, she sprung to life.The tired man stared glee-fully at the sight.
She pointed her finger and winced at his slumped state,
"come on you hag, i'll brighten your day"
Wheel me in, she said.I'm too tired, he said, but did.
Under the bridge. Rain.
Wheeling crows drove herto distraction; soon retired
by her pump action.
[Very clever, Ryan! LOL!]With deft hands and pluck
She took the dead crows in hand
And made the crows stew.
Tears moistened crow's feetas the un-handy chef saw
she'd murdered the stew.

of chef's pesticides!
Proven wrong, Mortonbought Tabasco; but nothing
helps when eating crow.
