I found it très amusant that all of sudden popcorn thread showed up here. Well done.
Given the date of the last post, I'll wish everyone a very belated happy new year.
Now what to write? Nothing so grand, but let's see...
The seam seamed so straight
on the librarian's hose
that she must be bent.
As if twere innate
she became his every dream
in her stacks and books.
He from the chair rose
then turned to admire her seam,
get lost in her nooks.
Now back to my 'real' work!

Guy, what an entertaining series of haiku to start off the morning with. Well written and fun to read! Here’s a response I scribbled while ironing:
His brain flashing with
bright Yes, ma’am!s, his eyes followed
her jaw-dropping gams.
How he craved further
education at her desk
in Circulation!
What of the likely
tuition? Should he kibosh
the thrill-packed mission?
If he approached her
on his knees, perhaps she’d waive
all the student fees.
Resigned to a thrill-
less life, he turned, slouched out, and
went home to his wife.

But no sooner had I got up from the floor, I'm back on it. Al, that is fabulously funny!
Hope you're well, and have fun in class.

It's off to the shop, benched
until late this week.
Sigh. I'm taking my Mac in to be repaired tomorrow. It'll be there for at least two days, and possibly longer. I'll try to keep up with the iPad.

rolled around, and Alex un-
locked the office door,
that made a sad, please-
oil-me sound. Comments littered
the faded-tiled floor.
She swept up the trash,
then, on a whim, checked to see
what mail had come in.
Something rustled. She
jumped. It was M: “Let me out
of the garbage bin!”

besetting me, the one that
bedevils me most
is that people are
always getting me mixed up
with the things I post.
I don’t blame people
at all for thinking I am
the things that I say;
nor do I blame them
for not the least shrinking from
throwing me away.
Say I’m a repro-
bate. Say I’m a gnome. Say I’m
not much of a man
because I’ve learned to
feel so at home in an ed-
itor’s garbage can.

What I posted was supposed to be funny, not depressing. Now you know why it ends up in the garbage can.

We just had a terrific storm. A cold front is coming through. It’s supposed to get down into the fifties.

I've not had a caramel mochiata -- way too sweet sounding to me.

For me to be seen
As anything but trashy
Is delusional.
To reach the bin's rim
From the bottom of the pile
Was my empty sin.
To be down and out,
Beneath the radar of all,
Brought to my life peace.

morning coffee--what an un-
expected delight!
What better to brush
the sleep off me after a
thunderstorm-filled night.

And we like children tremble
Beneath their laughter.
Of course from their perch
The god's do not comprehend
Temporality.

has a sense of humor as
wry as she is fell.
Whether she plans to
drop a piano on me
today I can’t tell.

The weather here is terrible, but we’re headed for the camper. I’ll try to write some more later. I hope you’re having a fun weekend, with many mochas!

I’m sorry to take so long to reply. We’re at one of our monthly travel club rallies and I haven’t had a chance to get out the computer until now.

ButI absolutely do not mind. Feel free to use and abuse them willy and nilly. When you do I'll see them on my blog, since I'm following yours.
I've been wondering where Jessica's gone. I enjoyed reading her poetry. Have any of you heard from her recently?

Your haiku makes sense if you read between the lines. Although rustic clunk and stainless steel seem a bit of a clash. LoL! That's the great thing about writing with pencil or on a pc - ease of editing.
Still smiling!

Plz just try!

my cheeks, I walk away from
you. "Please forgive my shame."
G2G Al c ya 2morrow!
Peace!

and darkness cant be erased
is this just a dream?"
the dream's weight loses its grip
wakes to singing birds
even when morning shrouded
