Haiku
But she felt the ground
beneath her shake--small tremors
after the chocquake.
beneath her shake--small tremors
after the chocquake.

People see me and tear me
I fall down, down, down
Now, I do not know
Who or what I will become
Though, it's not by choice
Will you look so hard?
Hard enough to see free me
Probably not though
No one takes the time
To break the hard, outside shell
And see the real me
A broken spirit,
she was molded to come out
like a shiny pearl.
she was molded to come out
like a shiny pearl.
She built a castle
out of ice cream, on top of
a snow-capped mountain.
out of ice cream, on top of
a snow-capped mountain.

alone I walk with no one
but myself to see
Even if they did
They wouldn't look at me twice
Because I'm hidden
Invisible me
No one even sees me now
I'm invisible
