Haiku

The dead secrets we secreted
Into the heart beats
We were not listening to
Until we couldn't hear them.

Facing a strong wind,
So am I: turned and bent,
But I stand firm,
Knowing nothing but to live.

Paucity of self,
Filled with passion and destiny,
Sense of us abound.
----
Leaf flutters,
In the wind, reflecting,
the trembles in my heart.

Sorry, I thought of 2 and could not choose one to put up. The next poster can continue with either.

To grasp the tree of life, grow tall,
Be wet with new sap.
I wiggle my toes in grass,
Fingers stretch to touch the sky.

Wind caressing her face, sand in her hair
Looking up to the heavens and sadly questioning
"Can't my lover return?"

To grasp the tree of life, grow tall,
Be wet with new sap.
I wiggle my toes in grass,
Fingers stretch to touch the sky."
I want to steal this, release it from the constraint of haiku, remove a few words and turn it into the perfect poem about me, as I often express myself as a tree.

To grasp the tree of life, grow tall,
Be wet with new sap.
I wiggle my toes in grass,
Fingers stretch to touch the sky.""
I would be honoured if you would do that, Connie! Please, go for it. And, if it isn't too personal, I (and many here I am sure), would love to read it.

Tears slid down here face,
with a push from her thoughts.
It's time for a new beginning.

To the very former beginning
Of our existence
Reunited now in the cosmos
The zenith of our true nature: love

To be united
And yet a syzygy still
Dancing in the dark.
Cherry blossoms fall on us
Bring to our old hearts new spring.

When the last out breath is done
There is still sunshine
And the crocuses in bloom
Transform me indifferently.

Thank you. But worms stay close to the surface, not deep at all! LOL! ;-)
