Oh, I thought it was very good.Remember, I was young and living in Hawaii. It is about the lore of ancient Polynesian culture and their relationship with the sea.

I teach this book to my 5th grade class. They seem to love it just fine. You can read it in an afternoon, and it teaches you something. What else would you like in a book.
