Can't add a book

I'm trying to add a book, but I get this mensage "Sorry, only members with verified email addresses may create book records".
Anyone has the same problem?

Its a new precaution to help prevent spammers. You need to verify your email address in your account.

Or post the book details here and some one else can add it for you

Hey, was wondering if anyone could help me...I've added a book into my currently-reading shelf, but the tab says 0 books...does anyone know why this is/how to sort it?
