Lynn Hubbard I live and breath HP! But was quite taken aback by all the wand switching in 7. At the start of the series you get a new wand. The wand picks you. Now there were instances where Nevel and Ron used hand me down wands and they worked horribly. Then they broke, they got new wands and they were much better wizards.
It is not until seven that you find out through 'stealing' a wand the new wand becomes more powerful. I'm mean HP and pals disarmed so many wizards in 1-6 I'm surprised ANY of the Death eaters wands worked properly. I was really trying hard to keep up with who had what wand but completely lost track.
Anyone else annoyed by this?

Samantha Rizzuti I got confused with all of that, so of course I go annoyed. I ended up reading it again just to understand it all

4 Shaunie #1 to many wands if you ask me. You can't keep track of which wand harry has

Ciara Not really, it was quite clear who had what wand. It was all neccesery, and tied in with the Elder Wand, and the confusion with Snape being the owner of not. Yeah, I was a little confused, but not that much.

It was one of the things that I wish had been explained (or even hinted at!) earlier in the series. It seemed kind of improbable that after all their years at Hogwarts, they had never heard of wands changing ownership by that means.
