absolutely Jacob. Edward is kinda old? How old is he? 80?
And he is definitely not my type.

Girls should learn from this novel that both are weird and they should, I think stay away from them.

for me it's Jacob...because i love the werewolf shape-shifting thing. i think it's really fascinating.

it's always been clear from the start who Bella was gonna pick. She loved Jacob dearly but as a friend, she would never feel about Jacob the way she felt about Edward. I for one prefer Jacob's character over Edward's but I would never have wanted Bella to 'pick' Jacob as it would have been very unfair on him as she could never love him the way he wanted.

Jacob because I prefer the happy and warm guy. I hate cold and I dislike pessimists and Edward is both so yeah, just not my type.

team Edward all the way!!! I NEVER liked Jacob. I thought that he was a pushy, obnoxious prick for the most part. I never really understood Bella's attraction to him. I mean sure, he was tall, tanned and well toned but then Edward was way better. He was still tall enough and super strong and inhumanly beautiful. He would do anything for her and yet she still felt torn between them... really there's no competition. Edward is better.

I had such a hard time with this until we started hearing more of Jacob's thoughts throughout New Moon. Then, I decided he was way too whiney, and I preferred Edward. Edward's so handsome, has a chiseled bod, and has a certain mystique about him :] he made me wish he was my boyfriend in real life! hahah

reading the books, it was Edward, but watching the movie, especially once Jacob cuts his hair, takes his shirt off, Edward looks skinny pale always frowning.Jacob is way more handsome in the movies, but then I never have liked the stubble look.

Emmett!!! Everyone else is way too melodramatic, I could just relax & enjoy life with someone like Emmett. Plus I like big guys.

Jacob. I am the type of person where I put others before myself. I could never leave Charlie. And Jacob to me can give me the life I want. If I was Bella that's what I would have chosen. Edward is great but Jacob wouldn't lie to me. I know Edward is trying to protect Bella when he does that but it seems to me like Jacob knows Bella on a level that Edward doesn't. Jake would know how to treat me and tell me the things I need and want to know. AND HE IS SEXY HELLO!

If the only choices are Edward and Jacob, it's kind of a split decision for me. Jacob is a complete ass in the books, not to say he isn't in the movies but TL plays it off well. And I absolutely love Edward in the books, especially after reading Midnight Sun, and getting a view inside his head. But movie Edward bothers me a bit, don't get me wrong I love RP and he did the best with what he was given. SO book wise it would be Edward, movie wise though I think it would be Jacob.

Honestly, if those are my only options, I choose Jacob. The way he was there for Bella when she was so broken. He's what we all should look for in a friend. He was willing to let Bella into his secret world, showing complete love and trust. No secrets. He didn't have to lose Bella to learn that. Yeah sure, Jacob has asshole moments but so did Edward. I feel like that's an equal playing field. But, Jacob I feel like was more aware of who Bella truly was. He paid closer attention, to her. I guess it's the wolf thing for me.
