Michael smiled slightly. "Okay. Just a question. How new are you?"

Ruby hesitated. "Well...if you're sure. We'll need to talk about payment before I can start with your potion. I want a decent price for it, as it's going to be big and take a couple days to make. What can you give?"

"Can you explain my absence too?" she asked hesitently. "Tell everyone I'm just keeping to myself for a day or two, and not to come looking for me?" She was pushing it. But if she could see her father again, that wouldn't matter. Hopeful eyes trained themselves on Tyson.

"Oh, I happen to control weather every now and then," said Aaliyah. "You?"

Jonathan sat on a beanbag in the western corner of the room, reading Sun Tzu's "Art of War". It was an interesting book that he meant to read for the longest time, except he never seemed to have anytime to read.

His eyes glanced up. Oh god, it was the annoying speedster again. Callie? He wasn't sure. He cleared his throat. "You really need to start looking where you are going. That looked like it hurt."

"Same. I've been trying to get into contact with some friends, but it hasn't really been working out." A half truth, Millie and Psmith weren't friends, but they were allies. And neither had been available for the past week. "So I've been reading some books mostly. Boring, to tell the truth." This one was a lie. He loved most of the books he was picking out.
