Very informing. It got me thinking and I might change a few things about my blog, like the huge banner I have...

I was thinking about my huge banner pic I have up top - but maybe it's eye-catching? I dunno, I just love Ned the bee :)
It'll definitely stop me from adding things left, right and centre to try and 'beautify' it.
I do find, however, that as a blog reader I do tend to switch off if it's too busy - I'm simple at heart, just shopw me what I want minus the kerfuffle ;P

I love my banner pic too, but I can make it smaller for sure. And I'm going to put the most inmportant upfront where people can see them.
I also find myself loving the more simple, yet beautiful blogs. When there's so much going around I get kind of lost!

My most important blog post, for me, is the one I've just posted and so will be the first one a person reads ;D
Not only does busy-ness distract me but it also takes longer for those glittery, moving things to load so slow down the whole process of reading the blog - that makes me close the page in annoyance ;P

Just been asked if I'll be participating in NaBloWriMo this year. After being told what it was (national Blog Writing Month) I laughed my head off and politely declined :P I'm not writing a blog a day, I have better things to do -a nd whatever happened to quality over quantity ;D

Thank you, you're so kind. :)
Lol. I'll be participating in NaNoWriMo though. Hopefully, I'll find the time... I only update my blog when I have a new review, or when I'm bored.

I'd never have the time to participate in the NaNoWriMo - or the inclination/skill :P Good luck to you is all I can say hun :D

Thanks! I'll do my best, but I'm not sure if I'll make it all the way through, I tend to get distracted by a lot of stuff, like studies and life...:P

I'll add mine to the mix anyway. ;)

Thank you, Veronica, Hayley. Glad you liked the blog post. :)
Really? You want to swap? I'm in, too! Ha ha. I think everyone must want to get out of their own country and see something different. Traveling is such a great experience.
Oh, and Veronica, so glad you're going to Italy in March! That is so exciting. You have to take pics and show them to us. :)

Just a quick suggestion for future reference - maybe break the writing up a bit & make it a font smaller - it's all just merging into one big blurb of text that makes it harder for someone to just read quickly, thus stick with it.
On top of that maybe make amazon & smashwords link to your blog (highlight the word 'amazon', click 'link' button and then put the link in where it says) so that people can just click and go :D
Other than that - looking good and welcome to blogging ;D

No worries, give it time and you'll be addicted to blogging and a pro at blogspot ;D

It's not a problem hun, anything to help - I had some issues getting mine set up :)

Let you in on a secret - hella lot easier than you think - haven't done anything special to it (too much fussiness annoys me at times ;P) and blogspot makes it very simple to understand :D

Write about your influences maybe? What books you read, any book news that you have an opinion on, stuff like that. If you find it interesting make it interesting for your readers to :D

I wa slike that up until earlier this year when I went through my unfinished books pile - I've decided from now on that (apart from the big 'fall-back' books) I'm only going to read one main book at a time. It's difficult but works for me :)
