I think that Amazon gets wonky sometimes...I KNOW that I tagged all of your books months ago...and when I just now re-checked and it showed that I had not tagged any ... grrrr.

Anyway...I went back and re-tagged.

As an FYI, there is usually a pretty good bolus of tags that occur for the new books on the list after I send out my periodic reminder/newsletter (usually about once a week to authors who have books on the blog). So you should see a good number of tags in a week or two!

That's a bit worrying... I'm going to check mine too. Amazon is a bit wonky about helpful votes too. I've voted a few times and there's been no change to the helpful votes received... it's odd.

I have found the same problem with helpful votes. Sometimes it seems like it takes a week or more for the votes to be counted.

I'm having a hard time convincing my real-life friends how wonderful this place is.

I've had 4 of my readers join, and several more have said yes, but I don't know where the heck they are! I'm trying to get a group discussion going with them as 2 are in Cali and don't know each other, one in NY and another in FL. The friends that have joined really like it here so far. Hope I'm friends with all in this group. I like the people here.

I am very careful about not doing that...but, I still know for a fact that I did tag certain books, and when I went back to check the other day...there was no tag .... Grrrrrrrrr.

Dee, I went as far as to write Good Reads and ask them what I did to my computer to screw up the fancy site. I totally thought I was on the verge of a computer implosion.

Mine had a gray background and I had to scroll down forever to find anything. I am guessing they were doing maintanence on the site...maybe?

Leaving a "yes" on Todd's Amazon.com reviews (or on anyone's reviews for the matter) helps the reviewer :]

You need to click the name of the book (which is the highlighted link) on Todd's Amazon.com review page (see link in previous post).

Side note: I'm wondering why my Amazon review of Vespa isn't posted yet - they usually get posted immediately. I'm wondering if the review is "flagged" because I used the word "Nazi" in the review...? Anyone else have this experience?

Wow, that is interesting. I agree, that reviews are usually posted the instant that you click send (or whatever button you click).

Did you post the review last night? Maybe there was a glitch in the system? Amazon, as I stated a few posts back, can get wonky. You could try to post it again? If two reviews show up, you can always delete one.

I wouldn't think that the fact that Nazi is in the review would have any barring on the review...as there are many books that deal with that subject?

I like Mr Skellybones too... he's a cheerful chap. There are a couple of other images of him that the artist designed and I'm thinking of having them on my web site.

I wrote a short review for a book for young people... nothing untoward in it... and it took two days to appear. It was odd because I added a tiny review to Wall-e at the same time and that appeared immediately.
