I am a new, self-published author who is absolutely thrilled I found this site! My debut novel, Shadows of Destiny, was published January 2011 and is being printed by Lulu. Let me say that I did everything on my own from editing to cover design, web development, and now PR & marketing. I admit, I have been winging it, but assure you it has been a fantastic journey! My website is http://www.galeminchew.com. I added a facebook page, I created share buttons on my website, and I just recently created my profile on goodreads.com. Your info about tagging is new to me but something I would be interested in helping with. I signed up for global distribution with Lulu which means it should be available at Amazon in a few weeks. Can I tag even though I do not have an author profile on Amazon yet?
I realize there are better ways of doing things, and I am willing to learn, and in the process, help others along the way. I look forward to great discussions with such a knowledgeable group of authors.
