You're right. I've been tagging like crazy, including you, and know how good the group is about reciprocating, but my tags haven't changed in days.

Mine have been going down but that has nothing to do with this wonderful group. :op

Similarly, I too love the way the the tagging is broken into months!

I try to stay up-to-date with tagging, and I have noticed my stats haven't changes for sooooo long.

message 904: by David (new)

David Korinetz | 77 comments In the last three months I gained 5 tags, even though I have tagged over 30 books. I started going back over the past three months to check who these new authors have tagged. When I find an author who has tagged only their own books, or none at all, when they have had a month or more to tag, I remove my tag from their book. Call me spiteful if you will, but I think that's fair.

Vincent Lowry (vlowry) | 110 comments Todd, do you have the link for the reviews on your site? I know you've probably included it a dozen times and I'm too blind to see it.

Thanks!

Nancy Jarvis (screalwriter) | 54 comments Hi all,
I've been watching my new book "Backyard Bones" which is officially out today, with some concern because like Gina, Stuart and others, Ive been tagging on Amazon but seeing no movement in my stats. Walter Hooey said he tagged this morning, I checked, and things are going again, at least for me. Thanks taggers.

I have been experimenting with this share button this morning. I am not very wise when it comes to computers, so I'm not surprised when things don't work out for me :) I managed to get the link on MySpace page alright. I think I have it on StumbleUpon, as I went through the motions of signing up, but I can't find it there, and have no idea where to look for it. I've tried Book Reviews, but there are hundreds of them. Oh well, plod on!
Cheers

Ha-ha, Shirley! Yes, my grandkids put me to shame! (most of them are driving cars now) but the two little ones are fully conversant with computers.

It's time I stopped messing around with this and got back to book #4 - but it is a good excuse to procrastinate.

PS to the above entry, 920: I have found my page on Stumbleupon, I must have missed clicking a button because they have me down as a sexless, 71 year old, shadowy picture! However Todd's review link was there looking bright and cheerful!

Oh wow! How can you tell?
Other than Amazon's ranking going up and down I can't see how Ferryman is doing anywhere.

David (davidjburrows) | 4 comments I like this idea and have just submitted my book. I got my first official fan today so feel like I'm on a roll. I'll check out Amazon Connect as well.

I wish I could add a tip in reply, but I can still count my sales on my fingers and some of my toes!! I'm feeling positive though as the reviews are looking good.

Thanks

Dee Marie (dee_marie) | 460 comments Hey Everyone,

First thanks to the fellow taggers who have tagged Sons of Avalon Merlin's Prophecy. I greatly appreciate all your hard work :]

This week I checked the Amazon search engine under Merlin and under Avalon. On the Merlin search, I am now #4 which is amazing, as at one time I was way back in the thousands. So thanks tons.

I think the reason that us "old timers" numbers are not moving is that taggers are not going back to the first books in the list.

Not sure how to get new taggers to tag the old stuff. While us old taggers are tagging the new stuff :]

But, I am excited to be at least be listed in the top 5 of the Amazon search engine :]

message 916: by Carole (new)

Carole (casutton) | 223 comments Congratulations Dee, in coming #4 on the Merlin search, that must have bucked you up for the day. I haven't tried doing any searches like that, yet. I don't suppose Ferryman is out of the thousands yet.

Jaimey (jaimeygrant) | 232 comments Ok, so I've tagged the new books for June. And I do have more tags to my own books. Thanx so much, all!

I have a question, Todd, if you happen to see this. For those of us whose books are available on the Kindle too, can we submit those to be tagged as well?

message 920: by K.G. (new)

K.G. Cummings (kgcummings) | 143 comments Thanks for answering my nosey question Dee! Did you go to SUNY Oswego? My cousin either works, or worked in the library there. She's retiring as a Librarian from OHS this June. I don't remember where the used book store is. I need to get back home one of these days!

message 922: by Penelope (new)

Penelope (PARiley) | 39 comments I left a note on one of the other threads but have a few minutes before boarding my ship so thought I would say hi to you all. My signing in Spokane went very well and about 15 of my old high school friends came out. I sold about 15-20 books then the next day sold 3 more and the time has been spent catching up and talking up my book. Now to sell on the ship and relax and enjoy the views of Alaska. No computer time for the next week.
I also introduced my new children's book that is all done except a few illustrations and have already got a list of readers who want signed copies and that is exciting too!

Hi Everyone,
I just joined goodreads and am so happy I did. Thanks to all here who seem to not only take publishing seriously but also are willing to provide support and guidance to other's.
I just signed up for Todd's tag you're it site and completed tagging all the books listed. Though it took quite a while ( while tells me that it's a great idea) I appreciate the help that I'm sure will be provided.
You all seem so thoughtful, I can't wait to get to know you better.
Thanks again for the advice and ideas given.

Norene | 6 comments I've been following this thread and getting a weekly update. My intention was to do reciprocal tagging but due to family health problems and an overloaded work schedule I've been unable to participate. My sincere apologies. I think the support you offer to each other is absolutely wonderful and I've recommended other authors to this group as a resource for creating awareness for their books. Thanks to all who have tagged my books anyways.

Hi Todd, Yes I've updated my tagging and have finished those you have just put in. Left a note for you on that site asking if you could put Ferryman on the UK amazon list please. Yes, I have bought something from them! It was your book The Time Cavern --- it arrived from Amazon UK today!

Nancy Jarvis (screalwriter) | 54 comments Tamela,
What is the name of your book, again. I'm very good about tagging and remember your name because it is pretty and unusual. I know I tagged you within the last few weeks. I had a run like that (see Gina and Stuart above) and all of a sudden I got a bunch. If you tell me your title again, I'll check for tags and let you know if mine took.

message 936: by Nancy (new)

Nancy Jarvis (screalwriter) | 54 comments Tamela,
They weren't tagged, which is worrisome. I did tag them today. Please see if your numbers changed.

message 938: by Carole (new)

Carole (casutton) | 223 comments Tamela,
I double checked your urls and found I had not previously ticked them, either -- so I have now. It's odd as I thought I had ticked everyone from beginning to end.

Carole,

Carole (casutton) | 223 comments PS
How does one get the link to come up, please? I ticked the add book/author and filled that in, but it seems to have made no difference.

message 940: by Perry (new)

Perry Ennis | 3 comments Hi everyone;

I'd like to tag everyone, but am having a difficult time keeping track of titles, authors, genres, and key words from each author.

Perhaps we could start a list...something like Dee has in twitters, so everyone can just 'go to town', and scroll and tag like crazy? Perhaps there’s already a started list…gosh, there’s so much…(sorry, kinda feeling a tad overwhelmed).

I guess I can start:

Perry Ennis – “Prepare for the Coming of Messiah”

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASI...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w...

Key words: religion, messiah, yeshua, ministry

Note: I went to tag my own, and the tags don’t seem to be registering. Am I doing something wrong? Sorry, I’m a ‘fish out of water’ here.

Thank you to all the taggers…now let’s get me going on this new show…lol.

message 941: by K.G. (new)

K.G. Cummings (kgcummings) | 143 comments I tagged Douglas and Perry. Hope you will tag me in return. http://www.amazon.com/gp/pdp/profile/...

my novels are listed there. If you click on them and scroll down, the tags will be listed.
