Caught up on my tagging. The pages do load faster. Thanks to all of you who have tagged my books!Bess McBride
Has anyone used the Amazon program that advertises your book or recommends it to their clients via an email. My POD publisher charges $800 for this campaign. What I'm trying to figure out is if its worth it. I have made most of my sales through my site. Simon
Simon,
I have not used it, but I have noticed an increase in Amazon spam plugging books. I delete it unread. But, that's just me.

Wow, Simon, $800 seems rather steep. I think if I were you I would consider spending my marketing dollars in other directions.
Great news all!Two tagging authors have been named finalists in the IE book awards!

The Crown Conspiracy by Michael Sullivan has been named a finalist in the Fantasy category and
The Time Cavern by me (woohoo!) has been named a finalist in the young adult fiction category!

Congrats Michael and Todd! That is definitely something to be proud of. And thanks for suggesting Firedrakes. I'm always looking for a new book to add to my overflowing bookshelf. On a side note, I've managed to tag all of April, March, and February 2009 books. Thanks to everyone who has tagged my book so far. It's going great so far.
wow, that's so exciting! :)I'm glad we can bring attention to great titles by tagging! Authors helping authors!

Excellent new arrangement, Todd. I have now caught up for the months of April/May for both the UK and for USA.
Congratulations on your new trophy. May it be the first of many.
Thank you to all the newcomers who have visited September and October, and tagged my books (Tag: futuristic romance) Knight's Fork, Insufficient Mating Material, and Forced Mate

You folks are amazing!Congrats, too, Mike and Todd! I'm new here as of today and after being laid up in bed all winter, I can't believe how much has passed me by in four months. Send good wishes my way that I can catch up. :)
Hi Simon,My publisher has the same fees. I found a little place called DNA Vertical, Inc. (www.dnavertical.com) that has a service where they put your info (press release, new book, book trailer, award, etc.) on 100 social networking sites for $25.00. I used them. Not sure the payoff, but ... I wanted to try something that spammed. lol
Anyway, check them out. They have other packages. I think I picked the cheapest promo just to see....

Make a Joyful Noise!
Well, I finished tagging all the books through January so far. I've been keeping up with the new submissions and am trying to work my way backwards through the months.
Well done, Michelle, it must be quite daunting to be faced with months of tags to do. I see my Ferryman has gained new tags, so maybe they are yours.Thank you.Carole

Tagged you as well. And you're very welcome Carole. It actually hasn't been too daunting. I enjoy seeing the different books and have found some I'm going to have to read.
Thanks Kathy and Carole!
I just tagged your books.
In some way this tagging thing is fun :)
