SSR The Road

The characters are in a dark cold place where everything is burnt down and wet.There was a father and a young child who where taking what they needed to survive scavenging with their few clothes and blankets covered with ash. The wake and have to move south to keep warm and as they do they look for things they can use to help them survive. their main problem is that they don't have resources to keep them warm or housed for some strange reason so they must scavenge. My take on it is that they are trying to survive yet the conditions are making it impossible while now all that they have is their memories and each other.
