Angel marched inside the library hoping no one is around. She rolled her eyes. Of course, there isn't anyone. This is a reform school. Who is going to read books? She slipped between two bookshelves and sat at the corner, her ankles crossed. She closed her eyes and started to doze off.
Tilly came in and sat at one of the tables, it was so quite in there until she heard a snore coming from one of the isles she walked over and saw Angel asleep she went up to her and shook her.
She stood up. "I wasn't planning on going to classes." she sulked. "I want to sleep." Her childishness rising again.
Ari roamed the shelves of books, running her fingers across their smooth covers. She flipped pages as she waited for Angel. Ari tucked away in a corner and read. Someone snuck up behind her , which made her yelp. “Oh, hello.” Ari said looking up at the boy behind her. “I… I thought I was alone.” “Sorry I was simply just passing through.” He said with a smile. He was trying to get a conversation started but that was going nowhere. Ari stood up and stuck her hand out. “I’m Ari. You are?”
“Hi, Ari. I’m Cameron Everlast, but everyone calls me Cam. “ They shook hands and walked over to a table to sit. “So tell me something about you, Ari.” Cam said looking deep into her eyes. “well- she started, then noticed Angel. “Sorry but my friend is here, so maybe we can pick this up later?” She headed towards Angels direction.
"Thats Cameron, but you can call him Cam, cuz everyone eles does." Ari said as a huge grin appeared on her face. She eyed Angel. “What?” Angel shook her head, “Nothing.”
She bit her lip. "Tsk. Tsk. You got two guys at the same time. What's his name? Darren, Damian...oh, Darien! And now Cam."
"WEll what can i say." Ari said in a joking manner while elbowing Angel. They walked to the back were their table was. It had their names carved into the wood and each table leg painted a different color. Ari couldnt help but look back to see where Cam was. But he was gone, nowhere in site. 'Oh well' Ari told herself
"No, no, no. OK maybe, yes, but only cuz he seems soo.. oh i dont know, familiar.” She said. They sat down at their table. “So hows your brother? I haven’t seen him around d yet”
Miabelle finally found the library. "Yes," she said as she opened the door. She ravaged through all the books searching through her favorite genres. "I wonder what type of books we'll need for class....hmm". She carried a large stack of books to a table to begin to read. But for some reason she couldn't focus on the pages in front of her. All she could think about the past. Maybe... I should just hear him out. I miss him... I miss having a friend to talk to. It's just that I am so hurt and vulnerable right now... ugh, I don;t know what to do. Mia looked up at the empty library and sighed. She took her books and decided to give him a visit. It is time to move on... just like I did with my family. Time to put the past behind me "Here I go" Mia said as left the library

She shrugged, bored. No expression seen in her face. "I don't know. We haven't talked and I think Tilly is providing what he needs."

Angel walked in between two shelves and sat there. She stared into space and remembered her brother. She flinched as her back burned her. She closed her eyes and doze off.
Julius entered the empty library, his hair still wet from that shower. Or what he thought was an empty library. He walked further in and saw that girl from the restaurant sleeping on a far off table to his right. He shrugged and made his way over to her, trying to recall her name. "Hey," he said as he stood over her, across from the table.
Angel saw swirling images. The main library is burning because of her. She watched as the people inside cry for help. Then the library burst and she felt her back burning hotly. She screamed.
"Whoa whoa!" Julius said sliding across the table. He put an arm around her to try to comfort her. He drew her awake with his powers.
Her back burned further cursing through her flesh. She felt a white presence urging her to wake up. She jerk and saw him. She edge away from him, she has a terrified expression. She can feel blood trickling on her back.
Julius froze as she looked at him, face contorted in a mixture of pain and horror. His eyebrows furrowed together. He said nothing and waited for her to collect herself.
Angel sighed heavily. "I-I'm sorry, are you alright?" She would've hurt this man for approaching her but it's not their fault. They didn't know what happened with her. Her usual friendly self wouldn't be back ever again.
Angel inhaled deeply. "I'm fine, as always. What are you doing here, anyway?" she changed the subject casually.
((sorry for the late replies, i'm on the phone.))
((sorry for the late replies, i'm on the phone.))
Julius stared at her strangely. In the pit of his stomach he knew she wasn't fine. But obviously it wasn't something she wanted to tell him about. He let her be. Changing his mood into a less serious one, he said "Well surprisingly enough... I come to the library to read," he joked. "Strange, huh? Who would have thought..." he laughed.((It's fine))
Angel joined his laugh. "Oohhh...really strange. Well, I can't blame you, you are an angel." she flinched at the word and smiled to cover it up. I really have to control this thing.
Julius didn't miss the twitch she had made, "Hey, what's that suppose to mean? Haha, all angels have to read?" he laughed as he rocked his chair back and folded his arms behind his head. "Don't get me wrong... I like to sleep too," he said with a grin.
Angel grinned at him. She liked his type. "I didn't said anything about...your kind having to read always. I'm saying that your kind has patience enough to read a book. And yes, I love sleeping and I doubt that you don't."
He smiled "You say 'your kind' with such resentment," he joked. "I'm kind of offended, hahaha. We aren't all that bad," he teased. "Patience is key," he said and winked.
Angel rolled her eyes at him. For once, the pain that she has been experiencing since she offered her wings to them are gone but then, her back hurts like hell. It's still bleeding so she has to go. "I don't resent...your kind 'cause I was one before and probably, my brother is one now. And I certainly don't have...the patience you are talking about." she sighed. "Look, I got to go. I think I'm going to sleep on a more peaceful place." she turned around and blotches of red is printed on her white shirt.
"Wait," he called. He reached out a grazed the blood leaking through her shirt. He looked at his hand, "Oh that is so not 'fine'" he said referring to how she said she was fine earlier.
She jerked away from him. She sighed heavily. "Don't touch me," Her view clouded as pain shot through her again. She blinked. "Please, I can handle myself."
((Poor Angel,, :P))
((Poor Angel,, :P))
((This is fun, haha)) Julius raised up both his hands in a surrendering pose. "Okay okay" he said and backed off. He didn't mean to rush at her like that but he didn't know she would have such a big reaction. He took a step back and looked at her.
"What?" she asked as he stare at her. She got an idea. "Do you want to experiment? You can take in emotions, right?" she grinned. "How about you touch me again or approach me and take in my emotions?" then the reality of what she said came back to her. So much for being a demon, huh? "Forget what I said." she waved off. ((totally!!!))
Julius was confused but nodded. "Come on," he said disregarding her last comment. If it helped her, why not. He led her to the chair, careful not to touch her again till the right time.
Angel backed away. "I was joking." she raised one eyebrow at him. "What an odd guy." Angels, she thought and shook her head.
