I first heard about this book because of the on-line game aspect. I was addicted to EVERQUEST when it first came out and I wanted to read some fiction that involved a character who was involved in a multi-player on-line game.
I'm now about a third of the way in and expected that the description of the gaming would have been more detailed.
BTW... does anyone else find it strange that someone who lives in Manhattan and walks 23 blocks to school everyday, alone, always takes the same route? I used to live in the city and I would generally take a different route everytime when I was in the gridded part of the city.
