I would love for there to be a seconnd book! This book makes want to go on a cross country road trip!
I don't think there should be a second book. It had the perfect ending with the reciepts implying they went on a date.
Maybe they could make it about another couple...and Amy and Roger could make a cameo..kinda like the perfect chemistry series..It could be about Amy's brother..
i would love a sequel book, maybe an other on the road trip, i mean, we had so little time "watching" them as a couple that it would be amazing having the sequel ... please Morgan?
a second book would be amazing i loved reading this book. and i like Romita05's idea of how it could be written. very nice :)

I'd love there to be a second book. As for what it could be about. Simplee!- Confrontation and sorting things out with her mother and brother.
- Deciding after talking to move back to family home
-Road trip back with Roger on way back to house and watch them visit old friends at college again and or taking another route! (:
- Amy Sorting out differences with Ex because she never really told him how she felt. [She can also let him know shes in love and with someone now]
don't ever hope for second book when it already has a good ending. the second book will ruin all the story for sure.
There shouldn't be a second book; this one has a great ending.
As much as I liked this book and as much as I would like to know more and Their relationship as a couple I think the second would ruin the whole thing. The ending was perfect they met again and went on another date. Besides what would the second book be about? I don't think it would have good sotryline....but maybe like a mini book just to follow up but that's it
I think there should be a second book. They should go on another road trip. A lot can happen in the second book because not all of their problems were completely resolved. If someone doesn't want there to be a second book, then they don't have to read it.
I loved the ending and thought it was perfect. Although, I've fallen in love with the characters and would love a second book. It's deffinatly not needed, but it would be nice to read about another adventure they take together <3
honestly, it could go either way...either the author will continue on with a second book, and it'l be as great as the first one
or it'll get totally effed up...
right now, i do want a second book, but only if it can live up the standard of the first book.
Andrea wrote: "If you guys read second chance summer you will k ow they are still together :)"i actually JUST got it... i'm hoping its good...
Andrea wrote: "You will love it! It's a beautiful story :)"yea, it sounds great. can't wait to read it :)
Very Very True ! This Book Is Amazing ! I Think There Should Be A Second Book, Just To Inform Us If They Got Back Together And How Their Relationship Was Doing.I Absolutely Loved It. <3 !!!!
Second Book, All The Way !!!!!!!!

right now, i do want a second boo..."
Yes!! I toatally agree sometimes authors just totally screw things up with sequels.
Andrea talked about Second Chance Summer. You're right. I read them both and I'm fine with not having a sequel because I know they ended up fine from Second Chance Summer. It's a great book too.
I would love to see a second book about the mother's story. Her story and struggles would be just as interesting.
I was pleased but at the same time disappointed with the ending due to the limit of knowledge to Amy & Rogers relationship... I'd love there to be a second book with more travelling. Kinda wish I read it on my way to a holiday destination though! If there is a second I will savour it for a road trip of my own!
Awesome book, great start to my summer reading but like everyone else I found myself dissapointed at the ending. I'll have to pick up Second Chance Summer and see what that's all about!
I need to pick up since you've been gone as well! Both will be great over summer, however my tbr pile is so big I'm going to start with john green over summer. What about you? Any plans for your summer reads?
the cheesy side of me would want a second book but (i dunno what) part of me would think that a second book may ruin the fun. Especially if the writer hadn't thought about it during writing the first book.
Maile wrote: "Where is amy and roger in second chance summer??"They are in the beggining of the book I think making a line to buy an ice cream :-)
Amy and Roger are in Since You've Been Gone!! I flipped out when I found out they were talked about in that book. I would like a second book too because I liked the first one so much but I just don't know if it would be as good as the first one. I think Morgan Matson left the ending of the first book off at a good enough place. I think the cameo in Since You've Been Gone is satisfying enough for me to know what happened with them.
Wait, do we say Amy and Roger in Since You've Been Gone or Second Summer? I read Since You've Been Gone but I didn't read Second Summer yet.
Pinky I have read second chance summer and I was told they made a cameo but I don't remember seeing them in that book. I have read since you've been gone and they were talked about in that book! Maybe I should re read Second chance summer.
You're welcome! I have read second chance summer I just didn't catch when they were talked about I guess. I heard that they were in the book towards the beginning. But in second chance summer they were clearly talked about in that book. I was flipping out when I read it! Lol
