I had this account for a little over a year now, but I hadn't updated it since I made it, so I might be adding a lot of read books in one day. My favorite authors are: Cassandra Clare, Sarah J. Maas, Holly Black, Rick Riordan, Eoin Colfer. I might have some others, but I can't think of them at this moment. I ❤️ music. My favorite singers are Panic! at the Disco, Ruelle, Billie Eilish, NF, Imagine Dragons, Halsey, Alessia Cara, & Flourie. I like fandoms. So this is me. Hello. And goodbye.

Welcome, Kaitlynn! We don't really write challenges to be solely one theme, but you might find one task in a challenge will be for a YA or children's read. I hope you find lots of challenges that will work for you!
Hi Kaitlynn,
welcome and jump in. Check out the Buddy REad threads or make your own reading plans monthly. Whatever you need to achieve your reading goals

Hello, Angie. I'm so glad you found The Challenge Factory. We are definitely well named. Feel free to ask anyone questions. We're a friendly group.

My kind of romance reader! HEA’s all the way. Welcome to the group. Tampa weather is way better than alabama anyway

Welcome, Tyler! There's a few of us HEA girls in the group, so you should feel right at home! I always write my challenges with Romances in mind, as that's all I read! We're glad you found your way here!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I'm Shalee and I come from France. I used to read almost only fantasy but now picking a favorite genre is hard. Participating in challenges might help me get out of my reading slump so I'm very excited to begin!

Welcome, Shalee! We've got plenty of challenges here, so hopefully something will spark your interest!

My name's Amanda and I'm a book reviewer who lives in Boston.
My favorite genre is romance (leaning more toward contemporary and paranormal), though I do love horror, sci-fi, and fantasy. I used to do a lot of challenges years ago, but stopped. Now, I'm getting back into the swing of things because I think they're a great way to decide on what to read next!

That's exactly why I do challenges, to help me decide which book to read next!

♥ I'm a Finn living in Sweden with my Danish husband :-D
♥ Fantasy
♥ Newcomer at challenges...
♥ Nah... nothing else comes to mind.
You've come to the right place for reading challenges, Ketutar. Feel free to ask questions if you need help. Everyone is friendly here :)

♥Your favorite Genre? Historical fiction, thriller and cozy mystery
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer? I participate in a lot of challenges but only at the easy level since I tend to read 3-5 books a month.

*waves* Hello Tari. My family has had four dachshunds over the years. They are wonderful dogs!
As a cozy mystery reader, you might enjoy the The Nancy Drew Books 2019 yearly challenge and The Maze of Death 6-month challenge.

♥Where are you from? I'm Brazilian but I live in South Germany
♥Your favorite Genre? Sci-fi, Fantasy, YA, but I read most other genres now and then, only not a big fan of horror.
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer? I like challenges but my time is limited, and I try not to stress myself with amount of books read or deadlines.
♥Any thing else you would like to share! I like readathons a lot and I'm always posting about them in my blog.

Frankie, we're ALL book nerds here, so you're in great company! Feel free to dive into any of our challenges! If some of them started in January, you can back date them to that date and use books you'd read in January and February to fill them in!
Leticia, I love readathons too! Do you have a favorite? Or do you try to do a readathon a month?

Welcome, Zoë! We're glad you decided to join us! I'm sure you'll find tons of challenges to keep you occupied while waiting for Bingo to start!

Hi Zoe, I am looking forward to Bingo as well.
Welcome to the group

Currently I study forestry in UAS so in the future I could be there to secure the making of physical paperbooks so to speak, haha.
I mostly read fantasy and fiction books. My new fave genre has been historical fiction for sometime now. But I do love some non-fiction books too. I'm trying to get my enthusiasm towards reading back with these challenges. And also make my reading experiences more diverse.
Some other random facts about me are I just really adore foxes, Studio Ghibli movies and I have one tattoo (:
Nice to meet you all and I'm always up to a chat and getting new friends!

I spend far too much time reading and LOVE IT!
Love making new bookish friends so feel free to message me :)
Hey, Tiffany. Welcome to The Challenge Factory. I don't know; is it possible to spend too much time reading? :)
Tiffany wrote: "Heyyyyyy I'm Tiffany. I'm 29 and from Ontario, Canada

Hi Tiffany and welcome to TCF
If I wasn't reading, I'd go mad. It takes me to my happy place

Welcome Zoë, Kaitu and Tiffany (and many others I've missed)! You will love this group. Lots of friendly encouragement and fun challenges.

♥I am from Columbus, Ohio
♥I don’t have one genre that I really love above the rest. I bounce around with all of my books.
♥I LOVE challenges.
♥I am married to my loving husband, we have one boy and a dog. I love nothing more than being a mom.
*waves* Hi, Sarah. If you love challenges, then you definitely came to the right group. You'll love it here! Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Hello, Mel. I'm so glad you found The Challenge Factory. There's a challenge specifically for SFF that I'm sure you'll love. It's called (oddly enough :) Science Fiction and Fantasy Challenge. Be sure to check it out.

♥Where are you from?: Rochester, NY. Currently living in NYC.
♥Your favorite Genre?: Anything that sounds interesting really! Mostly fiction.
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer?: I am currently doing a couple challenges from another group that I started in the beginning of June. It pushed me to read a lot more and a love it so I decided to join this group too!
♥Any thing else you would like to share!: I'm really excited to be here! Everyone seems very friendly!

Is Eugenia and I’m from Alaska. My favorite genre is MM romance and I do too many challenges! I prefer group challenges over solo ones 😉.
*waves* Hello, Lindsay and Eugenia. Welcome to The Challenge Factory. We could use your help over at the Summer 2019 Read-A-Palooza. Feel free to join any other challenge that catch your eye.

You can call me Jen. I live in Wisconsin and am a single mom of 3 children. As far as challenges, I am in so many right now it's not even funny.
Looking forward to participating with all of you.
Maggie wrote: "Hello there! I may have introduced myself already, but I'm trying to become more active. :) My name is Maggie, and I'm a librarian mom of two from Muskoka. I have loved books for as long as I can remember, and my day just isn't complete without reading a chapter or three!..."
Thank you for taking the time to re-introduce yourself, Maggie. I'm like you. My day just isn't the same if I don't read something. Especially at night.

Hey, Jen. Welcome to The Challenge Factory. I wonder if perhaps we should change our group's name. How does "Too Many Challenges" sound? Or maybe 'How to Juggle Challenges"? Seriously, if you have any questions, let me know.

I'm Joanna and live in the Swiss Alps together with my husband and two Norwegian Forest Cats (Grande Riserva and Salvarossa). I work as a bookseller at a small indie bookshop and love it!
Of course I love reading, it's my only hobby. I like reading a lot of different genres, my favourites are sci-fi and classics. Also, I love doing challenges since I enjoy discovering new books and genres.
Now I'm looking forward to new reading adventures in this group :)

Welcome, Joanna! I hope you find a ton of challenges to your liking! Don't be afraid to join the yearly challenges, you can always add books that you've read over the course of 2019 to your lists!

My name is Tammy and I live in Los Angeles. I am a 49 year old woman, and I still love to read. I love all types of genre, but prefer books that deal with spooky topics.
I just got a cat named Skitters. I named her that because she was skittish. I look forward to knowing all of you.
