I read all kinds of books - I don't have a favorite genre. Being a member of online book clubs has made me read books that I never would have otherwise and that makes me happy!

Hi Raine. Lots of challenges here so jump in! I went to school with a guy we called "Joy-zee boy" because he was from NJ and his pronunciation cracked us up. So we called him Jersey boy but with an attempted accent

Hi Julia.
is the first book I won on Goidreads first read giveaway and my first KH book. I feel in love right away.
Jodi picoult I had to separate because her moral dilemmas always ended in a way that didn't really feel cleanly resolved.
One of my favorite westerns are more HR:
Contemporary western romance:
Erotica romance:

Hey, Jackie. Thanks for taking the time to re-introduce yourself. I would imagine that The Challenge Factory is quite different from 5 years ago. Be sure to check out the Science Fiction and Fantasy Challenge.

I tend to read paranormal/urban fantasy, thriller, and suspense, though I'll read anything I find interesting. I've just started challenges this year (I'm not ready to use the word addiction yet), but have always tracked the books I read.
I'm looking forward to being part of this group!

Welcome, Jenny! There's lots of things to find here to help you with that pesky need for challenges! You might get a kick out of the Walking Dead Board Game challenge we have, so be sure to check it out!

John, thank you for sharing your book, but your book information should have gone in our special "Authors: Tell Us About Your Book" Thread and not in our introductions. Would you please edit your post, remove your book information and tell us a bit more about yourself as you'd like to be known to us as a member of the group? Then, please feel free to "pimp and plug" your book in our Author thread here. Thanks so much, and I look forward to hearing more about you as a member!

Welcome to The Challenge Factory, Dami. I hope you have a great time here. Have you had a chance to look through the challenges? Is there one or two that appeals to you?

Heya, Emerson! Glad to have you in the group!
March's Newsletter will be out in the next few days and that will give you a pretty good direction on where to start. I recommend looking at some of our longer challenges while you wait for March to start. You can always start the yearly ones now and add in books you've already read this year previously, or start them for March and have them go until February of next year. There's some 6 months challenges too that might be up your alley. Let us know if you need any help and welcome to the group!

Thank you, Trea! I will wander over and take a look.

A challenge from the group came across one of my newsfeeds and I was intrigued. I love challenges, and reading, and I really like how this group is laid out. I'm looking forward to participating in some challenges and getting to know everyone.

If you love to travel, Tania, maybe you would like the 'Cities of the World' challenge that's down in the Monthly Challenges folder.
I'm curious. Which challenge came across your newsfeed?

Thank you, I will look at that one. The one I saw was the Dewey Decimal challenge. I thought that was one of the most unique challenges I'd seen, so I had to check out the group it came from.

Welcome to the group! We've got tons of challenges that can fit almost any type of reader, so feel free to drop in on any of them that spark your interest!

I really like to read books from all different genres, but my favorite is definitely sci-fi/fantasy. I love to do challenges, though I end up not really finishing a lot of them because I am pretty busy with school at the moment. It's still pretty fun to participate, in my opinion :)

How about those of us visiting in Ohio for two more weeks :)
Hey, Rayann. Welcome to The Challenge Factory. Normally I'd be in Arizona, but I have grandkids here in Ohio and I have to see them whenever I can. I look forward to seeing you around the group.

I seem to always find at least one other person from Ohio around on these groups!

My guess is because there's not much else to do in Ohio but read? (I'm also from Ohio, and speak from experience)

Some of us feel that way about Arizona between the months of May and October!

Nice to meet you, Cleo! We're so glad to have you here!
*waves* Hi, Cleo. I'm happy you found The Challenge Factory. I hope you enjoy some of the challenges that we have going.
Hi
I don't remember if I introduced me so I'm doing it maybe again, lol
I'm Gaelle. I love reading more than anything. Urban Fantasy, romance, paranormal romance, fantasy, manga, I love it!! I love a good challenge and I love buddy reading and share my feelings.

I think my favorite genre is classic but it's too wide so let's say I fond on classic of 20th century (all those magic realism, post war and postmodern stories) and never say no to the good old fantasy (urban/high) and a bit of sci-fi is good too. But the less romance the better. I love books where charachters have strong inner conflict.
I only started reading books on english last year but it opened the whole new world to me (I can be a slower reader though).
The Challenge Factory looks like there's lot of fun, I hope to participate.
^_^

I'm also a severe book pusher as many of you who know me can attest to. ;)
hiyas ^_^ I'm Crysanthos. I'm from Ohio, USA and my favorite genre is usually fantasy (both high and low), science fiction, mystery, and romance (almost always of the paranormal variety). it just depends on my mood. I've never officially done any challenges but my friend (her username is vampamber or something like that I believe) showed me your current hangman and I think I solved it in 5 minutes. (if you could direct me there so I could make a guess that would be great) Anyway, what else about me? I like long walks on the beach, unicorns, and fruity drinks. The only problem is, the beach always smells like low tide (ick), unicorns won't come near me, and all of the rum is gone. Why is the rum gone?!?!?!
On a related note, I promise I'm only 95% as weird as I seem ^_^
Before I go, one last word from a Badgerlord of the great fire mountain Salamandastron, "I have always sought knowledge my entire life. But remember, cubs, knowledge in and of itself means nothing. It must be tempered with wisdom, and truth, and love. For in the twilight of my seasons, I have but one wish for you. Live, and learn, and love."

Welcome, Crysanthos! I'm the one that brought Amber into the group in the first place, and I'm also from Ohio!
Glad you're liking the look of Hangman! You have to read a book and guess a letter before you can solve the puzzle, but we'd be happy to have you join us! I hope you find some other challenges you can enjoy as well!
Hey, Crysanthos. Welcome to The Challenge Factory. I hope you find a few challenges that look like they would be fun to you.

Whilst I am not a total newcomer to challenges. I wouldn't call myself a pro either. I do enjoy them though and have joined looking to get involved in a few more :-)
