Welcome to The Challenge Factory, Natasha. This is the best place to be if you like challenges. I hope you have a lot of fun here and find some wonderful books to read.

I play mostly rpgs. Some of my favorites are Pokemon, Wild Arms, Persona 4, and Dragon Age. Currently, since I have a very old laptop, I've been playing video games on consoles. However, I should be saving up for a new desktop computer soon which will be great since I could play WoW again.
Ezinwanyi,
I've lived in New Jersey my whole life. I live in the southern part of New Jersey which is mostly farmland and trees which I love.
And hello to everyone else! I hope to have a great time here.

My husband and I have both played Pokémon before, and my husband has played Wild Arms and Dragon Age both on console before! Hopefully, you'll be able to get the new desktop, sooner rather than later!

I love challenges, I've just not done many because I'm in school. I will be finished in January, so my time should free up considerably.

Hi, Liz, and welcome to the Factory! I'm sure you'll find lots of challenges to get you going! Feel free to join what you can right now, as you can, and we look forward to seeing you a good bit come January!

I'm Amber, I'm South African but I have been living in Scotland for the past 15 years with my Scottish husband and our now 13 year old son. I also have an adult son, who lives in SA.
I joined Goodreads over 4 years ago but cancelled my account at the hight of the Author bullying, just before Amazon took it over.
I rejoined in February this year.
I can read up to four novels in a good month, sometimes more. But I've been stuck in a majour book slump the past three months and can't get past it for some reason. So reading is not as much fun for me at the moment.
Hoping to snap out of it soon!
I share my love for reading and books with my youngest son. We both read our paperbacks without cracking the spines and we like looking at our books!! :D He thinks we ate weird. Haha! I say, naaah, we're just typical book-worms.
Any way, I'm babbling so I should stop before I get carried away...
:)
Hey Liz, I'm glad you found The Challenge Factory. This is place to be if you love challenges!
Hi Amber. Welcome back to Goodreads. We can certainly help with that book slump :)
Hi Amber. Welcome back to Goodreads. We can certainly help with that book slump :)

Welcome Mandy! A lot of our challenges make you think outside the box a little bit and that always gets me excited to read the books I figure out for the challenge, so hopefully you won't be in a slump for long! Feel free to just jump right in, and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have!

I'm excited to explore some of the challenges and I look forward to seeing you around the threads. :)
Hi Brittany, we're glad to have you! I'm quite familiar with the discipline of TBR mountaineering - hopefully our challenges will help you with that! :D
Hello, Mandy and Brittany. Welcome to The Challenge Factory. Feel free to jump right in to a challenge that interests you. I hope you discover a great new book in the process.

Welcome to The Challenge Factory, Barbara! We read from a variety of genres, so I am sure you'll fit in well around here. Feel free to join in as many challenges as you can fit into your schedule!

I love challenges. This is the 4th year I do the Goodreads Reading Challenge and I'm doing 2 other challenges also.
I love Mystery and Fiction books

♥Where are you from?-Manitoba, Canada
♥Your favorite Genre? - still trying to figure this out but I think Dystopian
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer?- absolute newcomer
♥Any thing else you would like to share! - I was never into reading but last Dec I got too sick with a flu to play videogames and decided books were a better use of my time. They made me less dizzy too.

Hi, Micha! We're getting ready to gear up for 2016 and change things up a bit, so I'm sure you'll find something that tickles your fancy! We're glad to have you here!

Welcome Brindi! The year's winding down, so a lot of our challenges are as well, but I am sure you can find some things to keep you going until we unveil the new ones coming in for 2016. We're so glad your friend coaxed you into joining us!

I'm from Poland but for last three years I live in sunny Algarve in Portugal.
I usually read mystery, crime, suspense, thriller and adventure books. Sometimes science-fiction, fantasy and horror.
I'm not a pro in challenges but already for couple of months I'm participating in Dusty Bookshelf and Give me 5 challenges.
I'm a bit workaholic and rest of my free time I'm dividing between sport (jogging and body combat) and books.

Welcome, Joanna! Glad to learn a bit about you! Don't worry about not being a pro in challenges, we've got plenty of challenges that you can practice on!

Welcome to The Challenge Factory, Kisha. It's not too late to join some our monthly challenges. Those challenges will certainly stretch you from your regular genres :)
By the way, I'm from Arizona. Did you know that we have a town by the name of Buckeye here in the Phoenix metropolitan area? A group of Ohio natives pulled together when it came time to name their community.

Oh that's interesting!! We are proud Ohians!

Welcome, Kisha! Nice to meet another Ohioan in the group! I'm not that far away from you...I live by Wright Patt Air Force Base!
Challenges here really appeal to lots of genres, so I'm sure you'll find something that fits your reading style!

WSU is practically in my backyard!

Oooh! Congrats, Lanelle! If I can help in any way, let me know!

I'm fairly new to book challenges, I often try to set a goal for myself but never quite get there. Hoping this group will give me the push I need to get over that hump.

Hi, Bianca! We've got tons of challenges, and with how short some of them are, it should help you build up some great momentum to get over that hump! We're glad to have you!

Bianca wrote: "Also right now I'm kinda of a late bloomer when it comes to YA, didn't care for it too much when I was a YA, now that I'm a adult can't get enough of it. "
I know exactly what you mean, but I think it's more because the YA books have gotten a lot better since I was a teen back in the late 90s. Back then, the plots were ungodly simple, and there were, like, five cliches you could use to base the story off of, and if you didn't use at least one of them, you barely had any readers. Now, they're written like actual books. I guessed they finally realized teenagers are real people with actual brains? *shrugs* But yeah, I'm right there with you, totally hooked on YA even though I'm way older than all the main characters (unless it's a vampire or some other immortal kinda thing).
Welcome to The Challenge Factory, Bianca. Be sure to check out the Science Fiction and Fantasy Challenge in the Odds and Ends folder. One of our members made it. It's a great challenge.

I'm from Serbia, small country in south-eastern Europe. (My name means 'darling' in Serbian btw)
My favorite genres are fantasy and science fiction, although I like to read contemporaries and historical too. I usually like if there is a bit (or a lot) of romance in them. ;)
I'm a big challenge addict. I even have my own private group where I keep notes about them. I neglected challenges when I got a kid - but I plan to play more in 2016.

Welcome, Dragana! I love your name! This group is great for short or long challenges so I'm sure you can find something that will fit your current reading schedule! Our 2016 challenges are ramping up, so be sure to check those out! Welcome to our happy group!

Thank you Trea. I am sure I will find a lot of interesting challenges for sure. I am not sure do you have team challenges? I love those. :)
