Hi! I'm Stephanie, and I'm in a small town near Portland, Oregon. I thought it would be fun to have more challenges, and to stretch my reading, so I joined this group.

I read A LOT of Young adult. I don't know if it's because most interesting things are going on in the YA genre, or if it's because I dislike adult fiction since it often centers around getting married and having kids. I like adventures with lofty goals, not the goal of a normal life.

The only reading challenge I've participated in was on a website called Swap Bot, in a group I run with someone else. The other woman who runs it likes to do challenges there, so that's my only experience. I'm also doing the Goodreads challenge, I'm 9 books into 60 for the year.

Hey! :D I'm Becca and I come from New York, a little ways north from the city. I love challenges, because for some reason when I'm challenged to read something, I read it that much faster. Plus, it's just fun!

I read a lot of different genres, but at the moment a lot of YA. Other favorite genres are classics, and some thrillers and non-fiction, but mostly YA.

I've done challenges before, but never anything to this scale. I'm looking forward to it, because I know everyone here is just as excited as I am, :)

More about me, hmmm... I recently had some life changing medical news and it's made me super energetic and eager to make friends, have new adventures, and try new things! So I always have a lot going on and I love it.

I haven't officially introduced myself to this group, but now is the perfect time since I don't want to be kicked out before I get a chance to officially participate!

I'm Nizzy from PA! I love reading although many of my other crafty hobbies (sewing, knitting, jewelry) certainly take away from my reading time. I read books across all genres so it's hard to pick a favorite, but I do have a interest in distopian fiction.

I've never done any challenges, but told myself that 2014 was going to be the year to dig deeper into reading, group reading, and hopefully I can connect with some interesting people along the way.

♥Any thing else you would like to share! I like to crochet as I read on my Kindle! I have audio books but have never listened to them. I actually have read on the Kindle as I crochet. It does take me longer to do both, but fun!

-My name is Erin, I live in Caseyville Illinois (15 minutes from St. Louis).

-My favorite genre is any type of romance, except historical. I like to read all types though!

-I have never participated in any reading challenges. I need some new books, so I figured why not give this a try.

-My husband is in the military and I am a disabled vet. I work at Scott AFB and in April 2013, my husband got orders to Springfield IL (90 miles away). He comes home most "weekends". We have a 2 year old active little boy and 2 energetic boxer dogs.

■ My favorite genre is M/M romance, though I'll read almost anything as long as it has romance in it, and even when it doesn't, I've been known to read a little bit of almost everything.

■ I wouldn't say that I'm a pro because I don't complete all the challenges that I sign up for (I have a "ooh, shiny" problem when it comes to challenges), but I'm definitely not a newbie. I love challenges though because they tend to help with keeping my TBR shelf maintained.

Hello, my name is Lanelle and I live in hot and sunny Arizona.

My favorite genre is what I call '1800's romantic suspense'. If there is a real name for these books, I wish someone would let me know. Examples are: Silent in the Grave, And Only to Deceive, The Anatomist's Wife and The Blackstone Key.

I have really enjoyed participating in the March(or whatever month) in History challenges and the EOTM challenges, but I'm having a wonderful time seeing how far I can go in the Progressive Reading challenge.

I started a blog over a year ago. I'm having a lot of fun reviewing out of copyright books you can find free in the internet. There's nothing better than free books!

Hi Lucy, I was exactly the same as you and then became slightly addicted to GR.
Horror was my favourite genre and loved reading them especially Mr King. I stumbled across a YA book and have been addicted ever since.
