I haven't officially introduced myself to this group, but now is the perfect time since I don't want to be kicked out before I get a chance to officially participate!I'm Nizzy from PA! I love reading although many of my other crafty hobbies (sewing, knitting, jewelry) certainly take away from my reading time. I read books across all genres so it's hard to pick a favorite, but I do have a interest in distopian fiction.
I've never done any challenges, but told myself that 2014 was going to be the year to dig deeper into reading, group reading, and hopefully I can connect with some interesting people along the way.
Looking forward to participating soon!
I'm Mikayla , I'm new-ish to the group , I love reading , crocheting , traveling , and HORSES. I'm from Ohio , and I love reading historical fiction , classics , young adult , dystopians , and books like those ..
Hello! I'm Saira. Kinda new to the group. I love reading, knitting and stupid YA tv shows and films and books. I mostly like Fantasy and especially YA, but also other genres. I'm trying to finish A Song of Ice and Fire before the next season :)
Hi, I am Pat. I just joined Goodreads a month ago and am so hooked! I am very competitive and love the idea of challenges, and I love reading! I am semi-retired, working in a middle school library part-time (love the kids) and live in Naples, FL. So glad I found this club...looks very intriguing. I love to read about anything, but tend towards UF, PNR and historical fiction. Glad to meet you all!
welcome, welcome, welcome! great to have so many new
By the way .... seems as if there has been some sort of change ... and this thread, as well as others are showing up on my feed as .... 777 discussion / 777 new even though I've been following them for a while. What's up with that?
Hi im Greta im from Australia. my favorite genres are sci fi and fantasy but i have been reading a little crime recently. i am very new to both challenges and goodreads.
Hi Terri and Greta! Reading challenges are soooo much fun, and there are lots of really great ones here.
♥You name? Ariel♥Where are you from? Florida
♥Your favorite Genre? Mystery Romance
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer? I have been doing challenges for about a year now.
♥Any thing else you would like to share! I am 19 years old and a college freshman.
Hi I'm Tracy from Tennesse. It would be really hard for me to pick a genre because I truly love them all.
Hi Group
I'm Julie from Ohio .
I'm new to challenges and Goodreads .
There are so many groups in here to choose from !
I liked this one because of the monthly theme challenges. They sound like fun and will be a nice change to have something new each month to try .
Hope to meet lots of nice folks here :)

Well, Julie ... it looks like you've already left Goodreads. Sorry to hear that.
Heya, ladies! I figured I'd introduce myself since I have been lurking around here for a few days now.♥Your name? Victoria, but I much prefer to be called Trea, as I am so used to hearing it when I'm gaming.
♥Where are you from? Southwest Ohio.
♥Your favorite Genre? Romance!
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer? I can't say I'm a pro, as I don't feel I am one, but I'm not a newcomer either. I'd say I'm at an intermediate level.
♥Any thing else you would like to share! I like to crochet as I read on my Kindle! I have audio books but have never listened to them. I actually have read on the Kindle as I crochet. It does take me longer to do both, but fun!
Hey! Another lady in my mom group is in this group, so I figured I would join. I mean, I read 282 books last year...yea...I have no life.-My name is Erin, I live in Caseyville Illinois (15 minutes from St. Louis).
-My favorite genre is any type of romance, except historical. I like to read all types though!
-I have never participated in any reading challenges. I need some new books, so I figured why not give this a try.
-My husband is in the military and I am a disabled vet. I work at Scott AFB and in April 2013, my husband got orders to Springfield IL (90 miles away). He comes home most "weekends". We have a 2 year old active little boy and 2 energetic boxer dogs.
I am excited to get out of my "what should I read" rut!! Happy reading!!!

Nice to meet you, Erin, and thank you so much for your service and the sacrifices you and your husband have made for this country!
(Don't feel bad, I made it to 195 books read last year and am aiming for 225 this year!)
♥Your name? Malvika ♥Where are you from? India

♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer? Newcomer but i love challenges

Hey everyone!I'm Allie from Michigan. I love challenges (duh) but already involved in about 40 so I don't want to go too crazy here until I finish some others lol. But that's easier said than done...
Thanks Jenne!Could you tell me where to find the new authors to you challenge? I thought I saw it but maybe I was on another group cuz I can't find it now!
great to have you Sharon. You sound like you'll fit right in and have a tremendous love of children. have fun(welcome to others I may have missed)
■ Hi, I'm Runell which is pronounced as in *Rue-nell*. ■ I'm from a small little town in Georgia (and I have the accent to go along with it).
■ My favorite genre is M/M romance, though I'll read almost anything as long as it has romance in it, and even when it doesn't, I've been known to read a little bit of almost everything.
■ I wouldn't say that I'm a pro because I don't complete all the challenges that I sign up for (I have a "ooh, shiny" problem when it comes to challenges), but I'm definitely not a newbie. I love challenges though because they tend to help with keeping my TBR shelf maintained.
■ And when I'm not reading, I'm listening to music (which I have an eclectic taste) or watching movies because I am a movie buff and it pretty much shows every day.
Hi! My name is Lacy and I'm from Oklahoma. I like to read Dystopian genre. I also read suspense and paranormal romance. I"m starting to get into horror. I just love reading.
Well, I've been a member of The Challenge Factory for 5 months now; maybe I should introduce myself!
Hello, my name is Lanelle and I live in hot and sunny Arizona.
My favorite genre is what I call '1800's romantic suspense'. If there is a real name for these books, I wish someone would let me know. Examples are: Silent in the Grave, And Only to Deceive, The Anatomist's Wife and The Blackstone Key.
I have really enjoyed participating in the March(or whatever month) in History challenges and the EOTM challenges, but I'm having a wonderful time seeing how far I can go in the Progressive Reading challenge.
I started a blog over a year ago. I'm having a lot of fun reviewing out of copyright books you can find free in the internet. There's nothing better than free books!

Hi Lucy, I was exactly the same as you and then became slightly addicted to GR.Horror was my favourite genre and loved reading them especially Mr King. I stumbled across a YA book and have been addicted ever since.
Welcome to GR x
Hi! My name is Hannah, and I live in Connecticut. My favorite genre, well it's anything history related. Non-fiction, historical fiction, biographies, etc. I've never tried any challenges, but I joined hoping to up my reading level and discover new books in the process. I've really been wanting to read more books lately because I kind of stopped for a while.
Hi, my name is Lily and I'm from a little town in North Florida. I read M/M books and my favorite genres are contemporary and shifter/vampire romances. I've been a member of GRs for about five years and participate in challenges over at the M/M Romance Group. I guess I'm probably in the pro category by now but it's always fun to find new challenges to take part in.

Hello to everyone, so much going on here, still trying to figure it all out!My name is Abbie, but people tend to call me Abs, my husband likes Abz!
♥Where are you from?
I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area, but am originally from Missouri.
♥Your favorite Genre?
-Horror and Sci-fi are my go to genres, but I do read a mix of everything! My reading is pretty random.
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer?
-I am not a pro, but don't consider myself an amateur either.
♥Any thing else you would like to share!
-I am a chain reader, always have been, always will be. When one book ends, another begins. I never leave home without one, and I am pretty sure I have one in every room in my house...and if I have been to yours, I am pretty sure I left one there too!
Hello All! My name is Kelly and I live in the North Dallas area. I have an addiction to books and always carry my Ipad (with my 300+ ebooks) so I can read whenever I have a spare moment. I love challenges because they help me decide what to read from my never ending TBR list.
