♥Where are you from? - New York
♥Your favorite Genre? - Literary Fiction
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer? - I like participating in challenges that other people create. I'm not super creative at thinking up my own.
♥Any thing else you would like to share! - I'm in my last semester of grad school getting my masters in Educational Theatre. I am addicted to used book (I have over 200 cluttering up my NYC apartment). I have an awesome husband who I am slowly getting into reading. I have a really crazy cat named Whistler. She's my icon photo. I'm a mod at my own community on GR that's sort of a challenge within itself relating to prize winning fiction. I'm excited for this group!
Hi my name is Tia I currently live in Honolulu, HI but we move every 4 years (Navy wife and ex Navy myself) I was raised in South Florida. I love horror and psychological thrillers but I read a little of everything. I am a little addicted to challenges to tell you the truth.I have two cats named Puppet and Goon. I collect cookbooks from everywhere I travel and I also have a pretty nice collection of autographed novels and comic books. I'm looking forward to joining this group , the challenges look amazing.

Thank you Drew Im looking forward to participating.

Hi Group
My name is Julie. I'm 55 and from Ohio. Housewife, have 3 kids and 7 grandkids , most of our family lives in other states ,so I have a lot of free time to read.
I like reading nonfiction best, but also read fiction ,depending on my mood I guess .
I think the idea of reading challenges sounds like lots of fun. I've been in reading groups online for several years where everyone reads and discusses the same book, but I'm ready for more of a challenge, less rules about what to read, but more fun trying to pick books that would fit a specific category.
Hoping to meet new friends in here . My personal page isn't nearly complete yet, so I have lots of books to record, etc .
Excited to get started in here :)

I'm Diana from Portugal and I love reading challenges (especially when they are music related - one of my other passions). Actually, I enjoy everything related to art (my cats included, they are the best entertainers in the world) and my most recent hobby is to create jewelry and other handcrafts.
I usually read romance novels and I have a preference for paranormal, historical fiction and contemporary romance.
This group was recommended to me by a friend :)

I am Jesus from Kairouan, a small cuty in Tunisia
I am a civil engeneer and I enjoy HYSTORY, PHILOSOPHY
I would like to consider myself aa a pro-challenger

Hi all, I'm Christina T. from Iowa. I followed Lauren here because I love a good challenge. The one going on now (SSS....um something) sounds so fun but my reading can be so sporadic that committing to 2 books a week with a specific deadline gives me gas. Anyway, I mostly read romances (paranormal tends to be my favorite but love a good rom/susp and historical also) I read some YA and a few mysteries. Occasionally I'll read a children's book or non-fiction but rarely. Literary Fiction tends to bore me to tears as does historical fiction (yet I love historical romances...go figure).
I have been a long standing member of Shelfari but am really trying to figure my way around GR just in case Amazon decides they don't need 2 awesome sauce sites like this and close down Shelfari (sad panda at the thought). On Shelfari I belong to a few challenge groups which I love. This one looks to be quite creative so I'm hoping to join in on the next challenge that crops up.
Besides posting stuff about books I'll probably post quite a bit about my Bichon Frise Bastien. He's the only kid I have (but I take care of 3 other Bichons right now also.) I guess that is all for now.
I'm not going to list any favorite books or anything because my list is way too long! I'm happy to be here and can't wait to join in!

-Georgia

I joined this group a week ago. I love the challenges that this group offers. I joined a mini challenge since October is halfway over. I can't wait for the challenges in November. :)
My favorite genre to read is cozy mysteries, but I enjoy reading some chick lit, christian romance, crime mystery and general fiction. I hope to make new friends or challenge buddies.

i've done a few challenges over the years, school challenges, libray challenges & a few here on goodreads but i don't know if that makes me a pro or not.
lastly i've been outta school for about two years. when i got out i was so excited cuz i thought'd i'd have more time to read but i found i had less time. luckily ive recently found a way to make more time for reading again and am totally ready to start back with some fun challenges :)

I'm Georgia as well (north of Atlanta)

I read mostly romance genre and I'm a big fan of reading challenges. Been eyeing this group for a while now and decided to join finally!

Hello, my name is Sam, I am from Canada! I love fantasy and supernatural type books, particularly young adult, and I'm absolutely terrible at challenges but I do them anyway!
I started University this year and surprisingly that's actually given me more time to read! I spend so much time at the university waiting for a drive that I run out of anything else to do!
