Hi my name is Tia I currently live in Honolulu, HI but we move every 4 years (Navy wife and ex Navy myself) I was raised in South Florida. I love horror and psychological thrillers but I read a little of everything. I am a little addicted to challenges to tell you the truth.I have two cats named Puppet and Goon. I collect cookbooks from everywhere I travel and I also have a pretty nice collection of autographed novels and comic books. I'm looking forward to joining this group , the challenges look amazing.
Welcome Tamara and Tia!! My name is DREW and I want you to feel welcome here. If you have any questions, please fell free to ask any of the moderators or myself. Again, welcome to this group and have fun reading!!!--DREW
Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm still trying to find my way around the group and am planning some year long challenges to post before the new year!
Thank you Drew Im looking forward to participating.
I'm Laurie. I live in Maine. I read almost anything I find. I enjoy challenges because they make me search for new authors and unusual book.
great to have you Laurie! poke around in the threads and jump in and don't feel shy about asking questions.
great to have you Bridget, you'll find plenty of book buddies here. Jump into the challenges too, you'll find lots of new books and authors to satisfy that need
Hi my name is Tia and I'm from California. My favorite genre is supernatural or paranormal whatever you wanna call it. I'm sort of new to reading challenges even though i kind of challenge myself to read more.
Hi Group
My name is Julie. I'm 55 and from Ohio. Housewife, have 3 kids and 7 grandkids , most of our family lives in other states ,so I have a lot of free time to read.
I like reading nonfiction best, but also read fiction ,depending on my mood I guess .
I think the idea of reading challenges sounds like lots of fun. I've been in reading groups online for several years where everyone reads and discusses the same book, but I'm ready for more of a challenge, less rules about what to read, but more fun trying to pick books that would fit a specific category.
Hoping to meet new friends in here . My personal page isn't nearly complete yet, so I have lots of books to record, etc .
Excited to get started in here :)

Hello everybody, I'm Diana from Portugal and I love reading challenges (especially when they are music related - one of my other passions). Actually, I enjoy everything related to art (my cats included, they are the best entertainers in the world) and my most recent hobby is to create jewelry and other handcrafts.
I usually read romance novels and I have a preference for paranormal, historical fiction and contemporary romance.
This group was recommended to me by a friend :)

Hi all, I'm Christina T. from Iowa. I followed Lauren here because I love a good challenge. The one going on now (SSS....um something) sounds so fun but my reading can be so sporadic that committing to 2 books a week with a specific deadline gives me gas. Anyway, I mostly read romances (paranormal tends to be my favorite but love a good rom/susp and historical also) I read some YA and a few mysteries. Occasionally I'll read a children's book or non-fiction but rarely. Literary Fiction tends to bore me to tears as does historical fiction (yet I love historical romances...go figure).
I have been a long standing member of Shelfari but am really trying to figure my way around GR just in case Amazon decides they don't need 2 awesome sauce sites like this and close down Shelfari (sad panda at the thought). On Shelfari I belong to a few challenge groups which I love. This one looks to be quite creative so I'm hoping to join in on the next challenge that crops up.
Besides posting stuff about books I'll probably post quite a bit about my Bichon Frise Bastien. He's the only kid I have (but I take care of 3 other Bichons right now also.) I guess that is all for now.
I'm not going to list any favorite books or anything because my list is way too long! I'm happy to be here and can't wait to join in!
Hi I"m Georgia. I'm just a teen, but love reading. I'm from Pennsylvania. I will read most things, as long as it's for my age group. I have read the occasional adult book, but I mostly stick to historical fiction, fantasy, and dystopian. I've never done challenges, so not sure where to start. -Georgia
Welcome! Try the different challenges in the monthly folder they're a good place to start and the foreman ones are too.
Hi, My name is Deb. I am from Nashville, Tn but visit Dublin, Ireland frequently since my boyfriend is from Ireland. I love cats. :)I joined this group a week ago. I love the challenges that this group offers. I joined a mini challenge since October is halfway over. I can't wait for the challenges in November. :)
My favorite genre to read is cozy mysteries, but I enjoy reading some chick lit, christian romance, crime mystery and general fiction. I hope to make new friends or challenge buddies.
Hi Deb, I'm sure you'll find lots of challenges to join and you'll definitely find new friends don't forget to poke around for new reads or just ask for recommendations

hey Annamarie, plenty of fun to be had here and our great mods come up with interesting challenges so it really won't matter what the genre is. see you in the threadsI'm Georgia as well (north of Atlanta)
Hey my name is jess, I live in California, my favorite genre is classics and fiction. I'm new to challenges. I really love books so I'm glad to join a group that loves them to!!
Hi, I'm Skandia and I'm originally from Estonia. Now I'm dividing my time between Europe and California home. I read mostly romance genre and I'm a big fan of reading challenges. Been eyeing this group for a while now and decided to join finally!

Hello, my name is Sam, I am from Canada! I love fantasy and supernatural type books, particularly young adult, and I'm absolutely terrible at challenges but I do them anyway!
I started University this year and surprisingly that's actually given me more time to read! I spend so much time at the university waiting for a drive that I run out of anything else to do!

Hi I'm Stephanie, I'm 22 and live in Australia.my favourite genre is Adult Paranormal Romance.
i love challenges I'm kind of addicted to them so I will probably join a lot in this group.
Hi, I'm Nichole from Oklahoma. I bounce between PNR, CR, HR, UF and Fantasy. In other words, mostly Romance. I don't know if I would call myself a pro at challenges but I'm definitely addicted to them. I'm pretty shy and it took over a year of being on GR for me to make a peep. I seem to have come out of my shell quite a bit this year though :) I've been considering this group for a while now and figured this was the perfect time to join. A new year of challenges! Yay!
